Great tour with the family - We absolutely enjoyed this tour! Our tour guide was Professor Ahmed El Sisi who we found very knowledgeable in Egyptian history. This tour is well planned and overall we had a great experience!

Excellent tour perfectly organized - I chose this provider for a day trip to Luxor from Hurghada based on previous reviews. We absolutely wanted the hot air balloon activity at sunrise and therefore to arrive early. We opted for a transfer by private car (our driver Hicham) and a private francophone guide (Heba).
We were not disappointed.
From Hurghada with the transfer time, it is a day of 19h (departure 0h - return 7h) with several activities, two meals on site. Perfect organization without any downtime. We let them add two visits of craftsmen (papyrus and stone work) but no commercial pressure and rather interesting.
Our driver Hicham was friendly, enthusiastic, safe and considerate. Our Heba guide was attentive but not invasive, very informative and perfectly able to answer questions. Besides the claimant, I recommend it.

UNFORGETTABLE - well what can i say, this excursion is one that will stay with us forever, from the perfectly on time pickup by mahmoud the driver to 25hr later drop off back at our hotel the experience was without doubt indeniably unbelievable..
you start with a drive (from hurghada) through the breathtaking mountains and desert to luxor where we met the our guide the professor who took us to luxor temple and talked us through its key points of its history and explained the etymology behind the heiroglyphics, then he left us to explore around the grounds on our own before taking us for some very nice food at a recommended resturant (the beef kofta was 👌) before taking us to our hotel overlooking the river nile which was a beautiful setting to finish our first day..
then we were up before dawn and taken to an airfield and taken up 2000ft in the air for the sunrise in the east followed by a flight path over ancient temples and the mountain to where we landed in the desert, it was an out of this world experience, everyone has to do it 🙏
we were driven not to far to where the professor met us who very politely let us let us sit for a snack n refreshments before continuing our tour..
we went to many sites, carter house, valley of the kings, archeological digs by the french, workshops and the temple of hatshepsut..
followed by lunch and a private boat trip up n down the river nile ❤️
this part of the world is steeped in history and if you have a thirst for knowledge and experiences then just go for it, book it, you will not regret it i promise you 💯!!

Phenomenal, unforgettable - We came to egypt for a weeks holiday, from the uk and purchased this deal as an excursion and wow, it did not disappoint.

Our guide and Egyptologist at Luxor
And our driver Mahmoud, we're absolutely spot on the entire time. From pick up to drop off. We did the 4 hour drive, mahmoud was on time, very hospitable and provided ice cold drinks and toilet stops, and we found our English speaking guide, whose been a God send the moment we met. He helped with the language barriers, with other Arabic people as we're not Arabic. He was funny, humorous and extremely clever and knowledgeable on the entire history of Egypt, it's valley of kings, Queens, temples, tombs etc. He gave us plenty opportunities to ask questions and our driver waited and our things were safe in his vehicle. After a temple tour we were taken to a restaurant and had food, which was lovely food, fresh food, lovely service, and our driver battled through the crazy streets if donkeys camels and ridiculous driving of others, expertly before we were taken to a beautiful hotel with a room over looking the nile and the mountains, lit up with boats. Surreal imagery.
We were collected 5am with a breakfast box each and taken to the place where we watched the sun rise on a hot air balloon. Smooth experience and what a view we saw it was a bucket list experience. Romantic, as the sun rose and we landed in the desert and wad taken to our driver mahmoud and professor Ahmed Elsisi, and our tours began. Very knowledgeable and able to explain multiple times and ways if you didn't understand, let us have space to go off and was always watching where we were going, getting us through queues and to air conditioning where possible. Polite friendly and respectful. Took us for lunch in a restaurant , again delicious food before taking us on a gorgeous fellucia boat across the nile. There was another temple but we politely declined as the weather was extremely hot and we were tired. Said our goodbyes and drove back to our resort with mahmoud. Threw was no gaps in pick ups or drop offs, no uncertainty and that was important to us. Thank you sisi and mahmoud for the experience of a lifetime. Me and Jay will never forget.

4 hours from Hurghada more than worth it. Achmed drove us everywhere and went top. - Very impressive. We could not imagine how beautiful, spacious and long the tombs were. Balloon ride to remember. Then Luxor discovered with Samira our guide, which only made the experience even better. She was sociable and knew a lot about everything.

The Most Amazing Experience! - My wife and I did the hot -air balloon, which was amazing,,but the most excellent part of tour was the private guide tour of Luxor it started with our driver, Mahmoud wgo was an excellent, tireless driver as the ride to Luxor was 4 1/2 hours & another 4 1/2 hours back to Hurghada post tour. He was very kind but most of all, he was very accommodating to us which made us feel cared about and our tour guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable & spoke so we felt like we were back in time, if we had questions no matter how stupid, he would explain in terms so that we would understand. The value Ahmed puts on the history of his beloved country, Egypt, you are in for an experience like no other but only if Ahmed is your tour guide. He treated us as family & we did not want the day to end. It's ok, though, because he will be in our lives forever now.

Fantastic Trip amongst Kings and Queens - Our brilliant driver Ahmed Salah and our excellent Egyptologist Professor Ahmed Elsisi took me and my mum on a fantastic tour of the Valley of the kings and the wider Luxor Area
We were taken to Luxor in a comfortable air-conditioned car with Ahmed salah stopping for breaks and getting us water and snacks.
They both gave us the time we needed to really explore this historic areas and we had a really good time with the both of them.
I would highly recommend this trip to everyone and make sure to ask for this driver and this Egyptologist.

Great day trip! Highly recommend - We had a great time on our trip! The hot air balloon ride was beautiful and our guide Samira was incredibly knowledgeable. She gave us great insights into all of the places we visited and allowed us time to explore on our own at our own pace which was great. I highly recommend this trip and Samira!

Best Day of my Life - I am awe=struck and my mind is blown by this incredibly perfect tour! Had originally purchased roughly similar tour, which the tour company canceled at the last minute, so Viator booked this one with Legacy Tours instead, which resulted in one of the very best days of my life first & foremost because of Mahmoud, the best ever driver on earth and THE Professor Ahmed Elsisi, tour guide professional Egyptologist and so much more. There is absolutely nothing Ahmed does not know about Egypt from the country's birth to its present. He is professional, expert, abundantly caring & kind to his tourists, has an extremely delightful sense of humor, ensures that his tourists have rare & unforgettable experiences, and he knows EVERYbody who clearly adore him just like me. He assisted me all day with climbing & descending stairs and with uneven terrain, providing everything I could ever need or want. When my phone battery died from all of the photographing I did on this tour, he even took pics with his phone to send to me. He made such an impression on me, I hope and believe we will now be friends forever. I always dreamt of floating high in the sky in a hot air balloon and boating on the Nile, but never did I expect that dream would come to fruition within hours on the same day plus all of the other beautiful sites I went to see and food from some of the most delicious restaurants, but Ahmed & Mahmoud definitely made it happen in the best way possible. I told Mahmoud that the English language is so new & restrictive that I could not find the right words to describe my overall experince on this day, but it was outstanding. I will never forget it or them. If you are planning a trip to Luxor or considering a place to go, you MUST visit Luxor and book this tour, and if you do not, you will miss out on the best day of your life.
