Amazing trip to Luxor! - From start to finish this trip was amazing. I can’t praise our driver Ahmed enough. He thought of everything and more, snacks, drinks, ice creams and always thinking of his passengers comfort and enjoyment. We were the first bus to reach The Temples of Karnak, which meant we had space to explore with our guide Said before the masses arrived. Talking of Said, he was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was our escort throughout the trip and also looked after his group to get the best for us, be it a table for lunch or a private boat trip. The tour itself went everywhere we wanted to go and totally delivered everything mentioned. We were not disappointed at all and would heartily recommend booking with Ramashka Tours. If we come to Egypt again, we would definitely look at other tours Ramashka Tours offer.

Day trip to Luxor - Our driver Ahmed was great. Wanted to get us into Luxor first to avoid the crowds. Only 4 people in our group. Mini bus had A/C, WiFi, charging facilities, movie/tv and free snacks/drinks. Ahmed also bought us 2 ice-creams each. Busy day and went in quickly. Guide Siad was informative. Picked up just after 4am and scheduled to get back around 7pm.

Unforgettable Luxor Experience with Ramashka Tours! - My husband and I booked our trip to Luxor from Hurghada with Ramashka Tours after reading other reviews on TripAdvisor, and it was nothing short of amazing! Our driver, Ahmed, was exceptional—extremely helpful from the start and throughout the entire trip. He confirmed our pick-up time, reminded us about our complimentary hotel breakfast, and ensured our comfort with cushions, snacks, drinks, and even cash for restroom stops. Traveling in a mini bus with just two other passengers allowed us plenty of space to stretch out. Ahmed's expertise as a driver was evident as he skillfully navigated the roads and checkpoints, ensuring we arrived in Luxor ahead of the crowds. He kept us entertained with fascinating information, videos and a fun quiz along the way. When we arrived in Luxor, we were introduced to our guide, Said, who was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. Together, they made a fantastic team, coordinating seamlessly throughout the day. We explored breathtaking sights without ever feeling rushed, and we returned to our hotel in perfect time for dinner, feeling surprisingly refreshed. Overall, this was a bucket list day filled with unforgettable experiences. Thank you, Ahmed and Said, for making our trip so special! Highly recommend Ramashka Tours! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well-organized, informative, and impressive - Very well-organized, informative, and impressive tour. A comfortable mini-van with experienced driver Ahmed, picked is up punctually at 4:40 am. The early timing was absolutely worth it since we were at the sightseeing points before other tourist groups arrived. Special thanks to our guide, Said, knowledgeable and attentive professional, who kept everything under absolute control, giving valuable advice and sharing interesting details of the great history of Egypt. Highly recommend to everyone who is curious about such adventures and new experiences.

Day out at Luxor, Karnak and Valley of the Kings - We were thoroughly satisfied with our day out and would highly recommend this trip. We got up very early in morning at 3.30 am ready for our 4am pick up by our driver Ahmed, he was a lovely man who went out of his way to look after us all day day and make us feel safe in his country. Ahmed was very knowledgeable and was chatting away in English as we travelled to Luxor, he gave us lots of our great advice and warned us of the pitfalls of chatting to the hard sell merchants that you WILL encounter during your day. There were plenty of stops at toilets/comfort stations during the day, which was great for my wife and two daughters. We got to destination in about 3 1/2 hours but we had films to watch and free Wi-Fi in our luxury minibus. We were greeted by our sights tour guide Said. He was fountain of information and spoke English well. We arrived in the temples complex of Karnak and it was AMAZING and no crowds due to our early pick up and start. Said explained everything in detail and answered all my family's questions, you could see he loved his job and it shone through in his delivery. The temples were fantastic and the history of the Egyptian civilisation was stunning when you realise what this culture achieved three and a half thousand years ago. Next up was a lunch in a panoramic restaurant on the bank of the Nile. Egyptian menu, but tasty food. Don't forget to take lots of small denomination Egyptian pounds,USA dollars or Euros as you need to tip everything and everyone you encounter in your day, toilets were 20 Egyptian pounds to use per person. Then after lunch we went for a boat ride on the Nile. It was stunning. It lasted about 30-45 minutes and I got to drive the boat and sit on the roof of the vessel, made my day. Off the boat back into our air conditioned minibus and onto the Valley of the Kings. This place is a cauldron of heat and you need plenty to drink with you as the heat was strong. You will need to stand in the shade whenever you get the chance. Our guide Said sorted out the purchasing of all the tickets you need for all the attractions all day. We got to choose 3 tombs that we wanted to visit on our tickets, there are 62 to chose from. Guides are not allowed to talk explain to you inside the tombs so we had our history lessons outside the tombs and ventured in on our own. The tombs are unbelievable and rich in the history of Egypt, the colours of the walls were amazing considering they have only been dusted off and touched up with new paint. Stories etched into the stone from three and half thousand years ago. It just blew my mind what I was looking at in the tombs. We were all gobsmacked at the history of the place. Back into our bus and more snacks and refreshments supplied by Ahmed. We stopped at an alabaster workshop and it was very entertaining so we purchased a small carving to take home with us. Onto the Valley of the Queens. Yet another stunning vista to experience and Said was once again a great history teacher. You may struggle with steps you need to climb up and down during your day but you can take your time and what you get to encounter is well worth the effort. All done and back on the bus by about 3.30 pm for our journey back to the hotel. We dropped Said off on the way and thanked him for great effort, history lesson, and looking out for us all day, he was very gracious in his reply. On the way home Ahmed stopped at a roadside cafe/shop and we were given some ice sugar cane water to drink which was very refreshing and worth stopping fo. More entertainment on the screen in the bus journey home which broke up the 3 and1/2 hour journey back to our hotel in Hurghada. At our hotel around 7 ish we all thanked Ahmed for our day. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all he spoke to us about all day and we were very glad he was our driver. Summing up up it was a hard day physically but well worth the effort, the two people we had looking after us were outstanding and the effort they both put into entertaining and looking after my wife and I and two daughters was over and above what was expected of them. Great day and we have many, many stunning photos of our experience. I can't recommend this trip high enough.

Great day in Luxor - What a great trip! We were a family of four (two teenage daughters) and we had Ahmed the driver with Said the tour guide. Ahmed picked us up promptly from out hotel at 4am and put us at ease right away, he was friendly and chatted to us with lots of interesting facts and information that we asked for. It was a long drive to the Karnac temple but Ahmed got us to the first checkpoint being the first minibus that arrived. He is a man that knows how to drive, but we had already experienced traffic in Cairo so were well prepared for the speed and crazy closeness of the other cars. Once at Karnak we picked up Said, again another lovely man, very chatty and really good English. He was obviously passionate about his role and he has been one of our favourite tour guides on this trip to Egypt so far. The knowledge he gave us was just right and he didn't mind going off script to be asked questions. The Karnak temples, Valley of the King's and Queens were amazing and you can't fail to be impressed. On our tour we visited the Karnak temple, had lunch in a restaurant on the Nile, took a ride on a boat down the nile (13euros each), visited the valley of the kings, then the valley of the kings. Once our tour was complete we got back in our air-conditioned van and dropped Said off. Then it was down to Said to get us home again and he did so in good time. On the way he got us some fresh sugar cane drink and even a cane itself to try. His van was loaded with snacks and drinks and he even bought us icecreams, crisps, etc. He helped us with most things such as how many egyptian pounds to pay at each toilet etc. Back to our hotel before food was even open. Would definitely recommend these two again.

Valley Of The Kings - A day trip to the Valley of the Kings requires an early start and evidently a rapid transfer to beat the traffic and get ahead of the queues. And the urgency made sense - a fantastic place that warrants the attention and is an absolute must if visiting the area. Our driver Ahmed couldn’t have done more for us and our guide Said was fantastic- knowledgeable and helpful. We were lucky enough to be with a great group so a small group tour is to be recommended. A long tiring day but definitely worth it.
