• Temple of Karnak - Karnak is an ancient Egyptian temple complex on the east bank of the Nile River in Thebes (modern-day Luxor). Spanning over 100 hectares, it is larger than some ancient cities.

The central area, which occupies the most space, is dedicated to Amun-Ra, a male deity linked to Thebes. The area surrounding his main sanctuary was known in ancient times as “Ipet-Sun,” meaning “the most select of places.”
