Enjoyable trip to VoK and Karnak-Temple - The trip was very good. The transfer was fine, even though the driver was skilled but fast on the road (more time to see something :D). The first stop was at the Temple where the Guide Mohammed Baraka showed us some important parts. He himself helps at the excavation side, therefore he has some interesting facts. But you have to keep asking because he will give you a lot of time, to take Fotos by yourself. Be aware, that the kindness of the other guides, who work there, to take Fotos and give you some informations will cost you extra. The next stop was banana island, where you can eat bananas and see some crocodiles, but this costs 15€ extra as well. Because it is optional tell clearly if you want to go or not. After that you enjoy a buffet for free, but the drinks cost extra, so drink the free drinks in the transferbus or take your own drinks. After that meal but before you see VoK or VoQ, depends on your tour, you make a stop at an alabaster bazaar. They will follow you again with kindness and ask you to buy something. They don't force you to, but it can be a bit annoying. Then you finally see some Graves filled with old hieroglyphs telling you the story's about the king's or queen's. Baraka is able to read them and explains you some of them, if you ask. You see three graves and you can see the mummy of Tut-Anch-Amun, if you pay for it 15€ at the stop or previous through your booking. Nearly the last stop was Hatschepsuts Temple, it is beautiful, but you have to ask for informations or listen to some other groups guides to get interesting informations, because we were there only to take Fotos. Finally you see two big statues of some pharaoh. Take some photos of these hugh statues and get back into the bus. The transfer will stop sometimes for pipi-break. Be clear that at all the places the guide will tell you, to don't buy anything from the local shops, because you most of the time get ask to buy something, but you can't really take it home from your holiday, so don't buy something. The guide leads us pretty clear through all those little shops and was polite. We like to thank these drivers for safe travel and the taste of some sugarcanes after we asked. All together it was a very interesting trip with quite good informations if you ask for them and a comfortable transport through this sometimes bumpy roads. You can take a neck pillow for more cosy atmosphere in the bus. Your stuff was safe in the bus all the time on our tour. We enjoyed that trip.
