I can’t recommend it enough! - From start to finish, every aspect of the journey exceeded our expectations, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
The minibus from Hurghada to Luxor was comfortable and smooth. The van, which normally fits 13 passengers, was limited to just 4 people, so there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the ride. This gave us the perfect start to our day, as we could chat, take in the scenery, and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.
Our Egyptologist guide, Ahmed, was absolutely incredible. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he was not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about Ancient Egypt. His English was perfect, and he shared fascinating stories, detailed history, and insightful facts throughout the day. It was like stepping back in time as he expertly guided us through each site, bringing the ancient world to life in a way that no book or documentary could.
Our first stop was the Karnak Temple, and we were all blown away by the sheer size and grandeur of this site. Ahmed walked us through the massive Great Hypostyle Hall, where we marveled at the towering columns and the intricacy of the carvings. His explanations of the temple’s significance, its history, and the pharaohs who contributed to its construction were so informative, and it really helped us understand the importance of Karnak in the context of Ancient Egypt.
Next, we headed to the Temple of Hatshepsut, which was equally impressive. This temple, built for one of Egypt’s most remarkable pharaohs, is a stunning example of ancient architecture. Ahmed shared the fascinating story of Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who defied conventions and left a lasting legacy. The temple’s beautiful design, perched against the backdrop of the mountains, was breathtaking, and we couldn’t help but admire the sheer ambition behind its construction.
Finally, we made our way to the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of many pharaohs, including that of the famous Tutankhamun, are located. This UNESCO World Heritage site was the highlight of the day for many in our group. Ahmed’s knowledge of the tombs and the ancient burial practices was astounding. He explained the symbolism of the artwork and the significance of each tomb we visited, making the experience even more meaningful. We had the opportunity to visit the tomb of Tutankhamun (with an extra ticket on the spot), and standing in the very tomb where Howard Carter made his famous discovery in 1922 was a moment none of us will ever forget.
Throughout the day, Ahmed was not only professional but also warm, friendly, and attentive to our needs. He made sure we were all comfortable, answered our many questions with patience, and ensured that we had enough time to explore each site. He even took some great photos for us! His passion for Egyptology was contagious, and we left Luxor feeling like we had just scratched the surface of the incredible history and culture of Ancient Egypt.
In addition to the amazing sites, the group dynamic was also fantastic. With only 4
people in the minibus, we were able to bond and share this experience together, making it feel more like a private tour than a large group outing. Everyone was so happy, and there was a genuine sense of camaraderie as we explored these ancient wonders.
This trip to Luxor was one of the highlights of our entire vacation in Egypt. We learned so much, saw some of the world’s most famous historical sites, and created memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re considering this trip, don’t hesitate—book it! And if you’re lucky enough to have Ahmed as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable experience.
Thank you for a truly amazing day!

Drivers and tour guide... - Drivers and tour guide were amazing. I became unwell and they took me to hospital and collected me later in the day. The others in my family said the day trip was amazing. So sorry I missed it.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Egypt - I had the most incredible experience on the Luxor Tour from Hurghada with a small group of just 5 people! From start to finish, the trip was perfectly organized, and traveling in the comfortable mini-bus made the journey smooth and enjoyable. Our guide, Mr. Ayman, was absolutely fantastic! As an Egyptologist, he was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and professional. He truly brought the history of each site to life with his detailed explanations and captivating stories. We visited the stunning Karnak Temple, where the sheer scale and beauty of the ruins left me in awe. The Temple of Hatshepsut was equally impressive, with its unique architecture and rich history.
Of course, the Valley of the Kings was a highlight. Standing among the tombs of ancient pharaohs felt like stepping back in time. We also visited the Two Statues of Memnon, which were a striking sight and a perfect photo opportunity. Throughout the day, Mr. Ayman made sure we had enough time at each location to really absorb the history and beauty of the sites, without ever feeling rushed.
The small group size was ideal, allowing us to interact with the guide and have a more personal experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Luxor Day Trip! Highly Recommended! - I had the most amazing experience on the Luxor Small Group tour from Hurghada. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable adventure! We were picked up bright and early at 5:00 AM in a comfortable mini-van with only 8 people, which made the trip feel very personal and exclusive. The van was spacious, clean, and modern – a model from 2025, so the ride was smooth and enjoyable.
Our first stop was the stunning Karnak Temple, followed by the Hatshepsut Temple, both of which were jaw-dropping. The history and architecture were so rich, and our Egyptologist guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the ancient world. Then we visited the Valley of the Kings, which was the highlight of the day! Standing in the tombs of pharaohs and learning about their incredible history was surreal.
The lunch was also a pleasant surprise – an open buffet with a wide selection of delicious dishes. It was the perfect refuel before continuing our tour.
The entire experience was well-organized, and the professionalism of the guide was top-notch. We were back in Hurghada by 8:00 PM, exhausted but so grateful for the experience.

Personal, humorous, Egyptian energetic ☀️ - We embarked on a long day in authentic Egypt and didn’t know we would end the day with friends. We have grown together wonderfully as a group, which of course makes such experiences even more intense. We owe this mainly to Salim. He included us in his descriptions in a wonderfully humorous way, which made Egyptian history tangible up close. We had a great time at all destinations and felt very safe on the ride in between thanks to our drivers. Salim, too, has learned something wonderful: In Germany they say: Potatoes on the one! 😁
And in Egypt, we now say: Salim and this trip to one!

Nice tour with lots of light and some shade :-) . But once is enough - Early in the morning at 05 o'clock we were picked up at the hotel and we were lucky that the tour consisted of only 4 people.
The drivers were top, super friendly and very attentive. On the way we stopped at a "cafe" where you could get a coffee for a lot of money and also for the toilet you held out your hand.
Arriving in Luxor, our German-speaking guide who was to accompany us during the day joined us and the sightseeing started. We were still quite early but an hour later the crowds invaded Luxor. We were happy that we were just a small group.
The guide guided us through the temples and the facilities but unfortunately there was little time for our own explorations.
At noon we treated ourselves to the "Nile Cruise" for 10€. Cruise is exaggerated....It was actually just a translation to the other bank of the Nile. This cruise can be safely saved.
Lunch, on the other hand, was really great and very plentiful, overlooking the Nile. Very nice.
The sightseeing tour continued into the Valley of the Kings. In the end it was a great day, although exhausting but very worth seeing. Only with the typical Egyptian "hand-holding for everything" you have to come to terms. We were back at the hotel on time around 8pm.
In summary you can say that it was worth it and also affordable for just under 80€.

Great tour, communication fab. An enjoyable experience - It's a bit of a whistle tour - but probably to be expected if visiting so many sights in one day to be fair.
Communication was great from the company. Made life very easy and reassuring that we had made the right choice.
The drive was easy, relatively comfortable, the drivers were fun. We felt safe.
Our guide Salma was fantastic. She was an interesting person herself and her information was great.
It's a rushed tour of course, but we had one day - I would have liked the option to choose the tombs to visit at the valley of the kings. But again I understand we were onna bit of a tight schedule.
We liked the fact that we had paid for everything in advance and there were no hidden extras. So no embarrassment caused by miscommunications.
Overall. I believe it's a good company to go with. Yes it's a little more expensive but once you tally up buying tickets etc at each spot plus food etc it probably works out a similar price. Keeping the group small gave an opportunity to get to know the other folk in the van..it was a lovely day.
