Highlights
- Hurghada - At around 1:00 a.m. you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Cairo in an air-conditioned coach. Once you arrive there, you will be met by your tour guide who will accompany you for the entire tour. The trip begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which, in addition to its over 120,000 exhibits, also houses the golden coffin of Tutankhamun. Afterwards you will enjoy lunch. The rest of the trip takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the trip you may visit a perfume factory or a papyrus factory - this depends on the time remaining. Due to the convoy, the journey from Hurghada to Cairo (one way) can take between 6 and 8 hours, as all buses and cars have to be driven in a police car for security reasons. The coach will drop you off in front of your hotel at around 11 p.m.

Additional Information
Visit the famous Egyptian Museum with its countless exhibits steeped in history. Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! There are three pyramids here: the Chephren, the Cheops and the Mykerinos pyramids. You can explore the area on foot, on horseback or on a camel. Duration between 2 and 3 hours. Enjoy a boat ride on the Nile. (for a fee) After visiting the pyramids of Giza, we go to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and surviving sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion’s body. The sphinx was carved from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Cheops pyramid.

Recommended without any hesitation - During our stay in Egypt, we booked three trips with Book tour Egypt; and we were never disappointed.
Always punctual, well organized excursions, without unpleasant surprises.
For Cairo: We visited the Egyptian museum, then were transferred for a walk on the Nile, then to the restaurant and finally we discovered the pyramids and the sphynx.
It was a beautiful and safe day.

Cairo sights - Excellent guide. Thank you Behary. Saw all the sites e.g. Syphinx, pyramids, Nile, Egyptian Museum, and always looked after really well. Big bus was a bit uncomfortable, but that was a minor issue.

Perfect - I was with my son, two days in Cairo. Excursions, 1. Tag: Egyptian museum, pyramids, sphinx with lunch and drive on the Nile.
2. Tag: Drive to Sakkara to the Step Pyramid, visit the churches and Khan el Khalili Bazaar.
Stayed at the hotel, it was great. Breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking the pyramids, fantastic. Me or us, can only recommend this trip. Big praise goes to our Gide, he was great. He spoke very good German and explained everything great and organized everything great. He took great care of us.

Day Trip to Cairo & Giza - A super nice excursion in a small group of 8 people.
We met our guide directly in Cairo at the museum.
Really a great woman who fully responded to the wishes of our group.
There was no question left.

Highly recommended!
Please do not book the tours offered to you at the hotel by the guide on the first day.
You pay double or triple and ride in a group of 25 to 50 people.

Great excursion! - We had a wonderful time in Cairo, our guide Rafat was absolutely kind and took his time to explain the history of Upper and Lower Egypt.

Great Cairo Day Trip - Overall, it was a great experience. Our tour guide Behary was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had fun whilst educating us. The journey there and back was long although that should be expected due to the distance. I would 100% recommend.

Very nice experience in Cairo - The tour went well the drivers are excellent pleasant and very professional
The Egyptian Guide Rafate رأفت is friendly with clear explanations we saw the pyramids the sphinx and a whole collection of works in the Cairo Museum. We thought we could visit the inside of the pyramids but it wasn't in the pack.
