Very nice experience - Very nice experience! Everything well organised and the guides have been very polite. A suggestion: let make a longer ride with the camel if it possible

Highly recommend! A great end to our Egypt trip. - The night was amazing! Although overcast, we couldn't see many stars. Abraham was our Astrologer, he was very knowledgeable about the night sky and the Bedoine people. The trip started with a pick-up in a Jeep from our hotel. Then we drove across the desert quite fast, with lots of bumps for quite a long time (50 mins or so) until we reached the mountains and a Bedouin village. At sunset, we walked up one of the hills to have an amazing view of the landscape, then had a chance to try some bedoine bread and have a look at their items for sale. Once the sun was set we took some photos of the moon, and saw Jupiter, Venus and Saturn through the provided telescopes. A basic dinner of roasted vegetables, rice and Chicken was quite tasty along with a fun little party/ entertainment before we said our goodbyes and jumped back in the Jeeps for another exhilarating journey through the desert, this time in the dark. Overall a brilliant trip, definitely something I'll remember always. It's a shame it was the only cloudy day/night of our week-long trip and that was the one night we couldn't see the stars, but still, a great time was had by both me and my husband.

A desert that hides treasures - To get to the desert, we were treated to a real Jeep safari, like a rollercoaster, it was really great! Arriving there, we were briefed by our guide Arabi, who recently learned French but is doing very well. We met a family from the Bedouin tribe, who showed us their way of making bread. We also had the opportunity to take a short camel ride. We climbed a very large rock to gain height, observe the sunset and take magnificent photos. After a small meal carefully prepared by the Bedouins, we were able to observe the stars and constellations. Climbing the big rock can be difficult, but absolutely not impossible. The organization and the team, nothing to complain about.

Great trip, camel and horse ride only short but good fun experience.Food was very good.Take jumper/coat as extremely cold watchi - We had 18month old with us and luckily took car seat and wedged it on floor,ok but trip is quite bumpy so be prepared.. Toilets on site were amazingly modern and clean. Did get pestered a bit too much to buy pics and video of trip even though 4 of us had taken loads on our phones. Overall good trip with amazing views .

Amazing views but a basic camp - The jeep was very packed with people, overloaded. My husband and I had to sit in the front passenger seat which was not for two people. There was no air conditioning in the jeep so it was very warm even with the windows down. The driver was very careful. We arrived at the camp which was extremely basic. The family provided us with a welcome tea and they were lovely people. We got some amazing photos of the sunset. We saw the moon through a scope which was amazing and the guide took a video for us. We did not see any stars on the scope as we had no time, there were too many people and only one scope. The guide explained the constitutions of the stars which was very interesting. The toilet was extremely basic, no flush and no where to wash your hands. The barbeque food was adequate and tasty. Make sure you take hand wipes and toilet paper and plenty of water.

unsure - We were picked up from the hotel in a jeep. The trip to the Bedouin village was super fun. We drove off-road and were rocked by the jeep. The Bedouin village was beautiful and frightening at the same time. It was great to get an insight into how these people live. However, I was unsure whether it was all really real. The photographers are totally pushy and ignore it when the children don't want to be photographed. The camels there were kicked if they didn't do what the people there wanted. The geese were cornered and caught by the photographers, a small pony was held for pictures while another person had to hold its mother. After we were shown around, we went up a mountain, where we watched the beautiful sunset. Afterwards we had something to eat and drove home. On the way home, we saw the camels being whipped again.

Tourist trap. - Didnt really rate this trip. I feel like it’s more of a mock up set. There was like one building, and three camels.. they said they live simply and get around on camels but the man had a van and a motorbike up the back of the little house. The camels were exhausted and getting pulled around by there noses and honestly my heart just broke a bit.. we gave them water, and they were so dehydrated.. I would have preferred to know this was just a mock set up if I’m honest.. maybe that’s on me for not researching better, but this is 100% a tourist trap.. but I still felt it was a cool educational point to see how boudin people do live to a point. However this just felt fake and considering they live in tribes it just felt like a bit of a lie all the info they were giving us that they lived there everyday when they clearly didn’t… it was just one family just carting three camels around.. You do a two minute camel ride, then all get in a huge line to see the moon through a telescope and have a little buffet tea which is potatoes and rice and chicken.. the highlight for us was the drive to it, our driver was an absolute scream and I think that made the trip for us not feel like a total rip off.. he had us laughing from the minute we got in the truck. Our guide was also lovely and informative. When we also paid, the man tried to take double money off me for the National park entrance, and that put a dampener on it.. like its not a lot but it’s just the fact that at every turn in our time in Egypt I have felt like I have had to be more vigilant than anywhere else about people trying to rob us out our money. So that may be another thing you want to be vigilant about when booking this trip.
