We booked the day trip to Aswan from... -
We booked the day trip to Aswan from marsa alam, it's such a long journey starting at 4:30 and didn't get back to hotel until
21:00 most of that time is spent traveling with only approx 2 hours sight seeing and even then the only thing worth seeing is the temple. The Aswan dam is nothing but road and electric pilons and the unfinished obelisk is just a lump of granite that could be anything. It was a complete waste of a day. Also viator find someone local to use as your travel company, white shark who were rubbish no communication from them and when a driver did turn up he couldn't speak any English and therefore had no idea of what was going on, it wasn't until we got to Aswan that our English speaking guide met us and explained everything but until then we could of been taken anywhere. I would never use viator again.
