Fantastic whistlestop Golden Circle tour - We only had two full days in Iceland so this was a great solution for one of our days to cram everything in. Axel led the tour, and provided the perfect balance of giving us just enough information without bombarding us. In an ideal world I would have easily spent half a day or more at each of the stops, but it did give a wonderful taste of Iceland so that we know what come back to next time we come. The tour hits the usual spots for Golden Circle tours, with the addition of The Geothermal Park Hveragerdi. We really enjoyed learning about the geothermally heated greenhouses (and seeing bananas) and while the geyser wasn't as spectacular as the ones we saw later on the tour, the boiled egg cooked in a geothermal pool accompanied by traditional Icelandic bread was delicious! We arrived at Hvammsvík Spa just after dark and if it hadn't been for the full moon it would have meant that we wouldn't really have had time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Something to keep in mind if travelling November - February! It was a truly unique experience - sipping on a glass of wine while sitting in a geothermal pool with the full moon casting a silvery light on the sea and mountains. Though the dash from one pool to another was very cold, it was surprisingly manageable. I'm glad we missed the "human soup" of the Blue Lagoon, while there were quite a few people there we were able to find our own quiet corners, and the coffee in the bistro afterwards was great. Locals don't really use these spas and there are plenty of public swimming pools with lane swimming and outdoor geothermal hot tubs dotted around the city that they do use for a much lower cost. So now that I've had the fancy spa experience I think I'd go with one of those next time, but I'm very glad I got to experience this.

if you’re on the fence, book with nice travel - I can't say enough good things about my experience with 3-Day Nice Travels Group! The trip was already packed with incredible sights, but our guide, David, truly made it unforgettable. His humor and knowledge were the perfect cherry on top. He kept the group entertained with his hilarious commentary while also sharing fascinating insights about every location. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving everyone the best experience possible. What sets this tour apart is how much more personal and authentic it feels compared to corporate tours. David went above and beyond, taking us to extra spots not even on the itinerary, which was such an unexpected treat. The highlights for me were the stunning ice cave and Diamond Beach-absolutely breathtaking! I'll never forget standing in those magical places, feeling so lucky to be there. If you're looking for a tour that's fun, informative, and filled with surprises, this is the one. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat!

100% recommend 3-day South Coast tour! - As we were only in Iceland for 4 days, we decided to do a 3-day South Coast + Ice Cave tour. This tour did not disappoint! I did not feel rushed at any of the stops and got to see everything on my bucketlist. David was the best and gave us a lot of information about the history of volcanic eruptions and other fun facts about our stops. He also had a bomb music playlist. The ice cave tour was my personal highlight. Accommodations were also nice. Definitely recommend adding option for Hvammsvik Spa. Already thinking about coming back to Iceland and doing a northwest coast tour with NiceTravel!
