Thank You Jakob: Not just a tour, memories for a lifetime - Our trip to Iceland was made special with a wonderful experience provided by a private tour we decided to book to the South Coast and Diamond Beach. Our tour guide, Jakob picked us up at our hotel in Reykjavik at 8 a.m. and dropped us off at midnight. Although it was a long day, Jakob made the day feel so memorable and special.
Jakob made this more than just a tour;he made it a customized journey to our every need. Jakob's personal touches, warmth and attentiveness catered to our every need. He made us feel like we were his lifelong friends. He provided outstanding service tailoring our interests with major attractions and special stops for coffee, food, and restroom breaks, ensuring we always felt comfortable and cared for throughout the journey.
Jakob's knowledge of the landscape and history was a nice touch. He demonstrated a willingness to go the extra mile that made this tour a 7-star experience above and beyond any five stars out there. We had such genuine and sincere conversations truly feeling a sense of family and connection with him that is rare to find. Wonderful Iceland - We were 3 couples and had these personalised tours. Alex, the tour guide, was very friendly and helpful and provided us with information on all the places we visited. Highly recommended.

From glittering icebergs to adorable puffins, this South Coast tour was pure magic! - Took the South Coast tour with our amazing guide Alex and it was an incredible day from start to finish. Our guide and driver, Alex, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Highlights were the magical Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, sparkling Diamond Beach, Vik and the puffins at Dyrhólaey.
A comfortable ride through stunning scenery all day. Highly recommend!

Kiril - France! 3rd tour with Alexander - Alexander Iceland Review
It’s always a pleasure when we’re treated not just as customers who paid for a service, but as guests whom someone genuinely wants to make feel cared for and comfortable. That’s exactly the kind of attitude we experienced from Alexander. For him, it’s not only important to provide high-quality service—it genuinely brings him joy to delight his guests, and he does his job with visible enthusiasm.
Moreover, his tour offer includes the pleasant extra opportunity to purchase memorable souvenirs and order Icelandic delicacies at a fair price. Alexander stayed in contact with us not only while planning our two-day tour but also offered interesting activity options for the rest of our family stay in Iceland, and arranged our transfer from the airport.
During the trip, he adjusted our route according to the weather conditions, and we were able to plan a boat ride in the Diamond Beach bay. When my younger brother asked to see a geyser he had heard about during the trip—a stop that wasn’t originally planned—Alexander didn’t object. He simply added several dozen kilometers to the route, and my brother was absolutely thrilled!
The warm aftertaste of our trip through southern Iceland with Alexander not only made us hold on for a few extra seconds in a firm handshake when parting ways, but also inspired us to write this review five days after the tour, when we finally had a few minutes free after returning home, no longer fully immersed in the vivid festive impressions from visiting the beautiful and welcoming Iceland!

Amazing tour - The views were amazing. Took lots of amazing photos. Dmitry was a fantastic tour guide. Was a day we will never forget. May be a long tour but well worth it.

Awesome locations and a great guide- Alex - A wonderful full day tour. Alex was an excellent tour guide and flexible. We had already visited two of the stop locations, Alex was kind to accommodate with a different spot along the way. He allowed ample time for our viewing pleasure and was a pleasant guide providing information along the way. The locations were spectacular. Definitely recommend!

Awesome glacier view - The tour was a full day- full of amazing views!! Alex, our guide was terrific, and flexible. We had already visited the falls and so we asked to skip that. This was not a problem. And instead we went to a different spot. The glacier lagoon and black diamond beach were beautiful!!! We did happen to have nice weather, but was a fun and great time. Alex made the trip informative and a pleasure. Would not hesitate as was great day!

Amazing Diamond Beach Tour - Absolutely recommend this tour!!
Alex was a fantastic guide, not only showing us places on the itinerary, but a few extra as well.
Alex's driving was excellent and we felt very safe and relaxed the whole time.
We were never rushed and were able to take our time and make some amazing family memories!
Being a private tour was so much easier and more comfortable for the children and Alex was very knowledgeable about the area and where to go to get some fantastic photos. The music in the car was very atmospheric and allowed us to absorb the beautiful nature all around us.
If you are looking to do this tour, make sure you book with Alex and you will have no regrets. We really hope we are lucky enough to go again in the future.

Amazing tour! - Absolutely brilliant tour! Booking this tour was the best decision of our holiday. Alex was amazing and took some great photos of us at each site and then let us explore on our own. He even took us to other places that the big group tours don’t visit, including the Yoda Cave. The trip was so interesting; even the long drive didn’t seem so long and the vehicle was so comfortable. When researching this holiday, I wanted to do a tour to see the two waterfalls and Reynisfjara Beach AND Jokulsarlon and Diamond Beach but I could not find a group tour that did all of these in one day, so we would’ve had to do two day tours to see all these sights. Then I found this tour and we got to do all these (and more) in one day. This meant only one long day of driving instead of two days AND we had an ‘extra’ day to do another activity. We loved this tour so much that we cancelled our big group Golden Circle Tour and did Alex’s private Golden Circle Tour instead on another day!
