Wonderful Tour w/an Excellent Guide! - Can’t say enough good things about this tour and Sammi, our driver and tour guide, who made the day fun but also informative. It’s an incredibly long day, but the itinerary was well designed with stops for snacks and bathroom breaks built in to insure that everyone was comfortable throughout the journey. But, the thing that I liked the most was that you could just tell that Sammi loves his job, has a compassion for people and takes a lot of pride in what he does. We were lucky to have him leading the way with great recommendations on the best viewing sites and paths to take everywhere we stopped to optimize our time. Hats off to a great day, thanks to a great guide and driver!

Incredible Tour - Filips is very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. He took time to explain different unique things about Iceland, including horses, animals, and singers. He’s also a great DJ.

A Day with Christna - Our guide on this tour was Christina who was outstanding. She not only was very informative but also made us laugh several times with her humor. Christina made what would have been a good tour into what turned out to be an excellent tour.

The best day tour from the Capital, you just can’t miss it!!! - This was our second tour with this exceptional company. It is so evident that they go above and beyond to share Iceland in a way that no other tour really provides. The love and enthusiasm for this beautiful country is quite literally tangible when it comes to our awesome guide, David. We were SO lucky to see him again after an exceptional experience in the Westfjords. Out of most day tours from the Capital, I found the South Coast tour the absolute best. Sights so unique and majestic really can’t be missed when visiting this beautiful country. The glacier hike is one of the most particular and unforgettable highlights of our whole holiday. Truly a one of a kind experience. We are so excited to come back as soon as possible!!🤩

The warm smell of Iceland's local Trips - My trip to Iceland, a tumultuous one in which my plane forced a landing in Munich for one night, severely affected the trip to the Golden Circle and South Shore Black Beach that I had already paid to sign up for in Iceland. I had to write an email to Nice Travel to cancel one of the days. They were nice enough to reschedule me for free and I had nothing to lose. They are very human and will think of their guests. Especially laudable was the fact that their drivers were old local Icelandic drivers, who were adept and safety-first for special weather situations and had seen two traffic accidents on the road, and I was very determined that I chose local Trips over grounding and escorts where insurance qualifications were not guaranteed. I can't imagine putting safety first in such a remote place while knowing enough about the history and destination of the area. This is amazing.

Easily the BEST experience of our entire trip! - There are really no words to describe this amazing experience. This tour was easily the highlight of our girls trip (which included Dublin and Edinburgh). Christina was fantastic. She was funny and knowledgeable and helpful - she enjoyed talking about her country and highlighting the beauty, uniqueness and the history. I would add that we did not do the glacier hike with our tour, and we were glad - this allowed us to see more of the coastline, waterfalls, and natural beauty of Iceland. Because we were a small group, Christina altered our schedule to maximize our experience. If you only have one day in Iceland, this tour is a MUST. It was a long day but broken up so well with rest stops and scenery. And paying extra for the small group was the smartest thing we did.

Super great trip 2 days of Iceland South Coast to Jukulsarlon Glacier Lagoon - The scenery along the coastline is very changeable and super beautiful with the mountains and the sea. It’s really awesome! In addition, our tour guide Walter is humorous and has detailed explanations, which makes our entire trip more exciting, lively and interesting! Walter is the best Guide we had in Reykjavik what a pleasure to join this amazing tour! Amazing scenery even in a rainy day - The sights of the tour were all amazing but the stand out for us were the black beaches, glacier and seeing puffins up close. More time at the glacier is needed, 40 minutes wasn't enough whereas an hour would have allowed you to walk all the way to it. There are plenty of breaks so time is available. The downside for us was a driver who wanted to get everywhere very fast which we found very disturbing!!
