On this traditional journey, we’ll embark on The Golden Circle to fully immerse ourselves in all its majesty and splendor! Our destinations include the Þingvellir national park, the Geysir geothermal zone, and Gullfoss, the crowning jewel of all Icelandic waterfalls. 

We will explore the stunning Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO Heritage site, where the views are breathtaking regardless of the weather conditions! We’ll examine the evidence of tectonic plate separation and learn about the spot where Iceland’s earliest settlers established the world’s oldest parliament, Althingi (Alþingi), in the year 930. 

Our journey continues to the geyser zone, home to Geysir, the original geyser that lent its name to all others. Here we’ll witness the active geyser Strokkur, which erupts approximately every 5-10 minutes and can reach a height of up to 25 meters. We will also explore the other geothermal attractions in the area. Our final stop is the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, often referred to by Icelanders as the Queen of all Waterfalls!
