Set out on two game drives to spot the park’s animals at their watering holes — If you allow yourself adequate time here you will probably see nearly all the major species: giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland and accompanying predators including lion, hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox and possibly even cheetah and wild dog.

Upon arriving at one of our lodges, you’ll be introduced to the safari experience by a qualified guide in a dedicated Safari Vehicle. The park is dotted with numerous watering holes that your guide will navigate towards, hoping to catch a glimpse of animals during their feeding periods. Your guide will escort you around the park providing an elevated view of the diverse wildlife. Following this, you’ll be returned to the lodge for a substantial midday brunch. As the day’s heat dissipates, most animals migrate to the water holes and to keep up with these movements, you’ll be taken on a second Safari Drive. Observations suggest that the most rewarding moments for viewing wildlife align with sunset, as the animals generally congregate near the watering holes. There’s no better recommendation we can give for witnessing Zimbabwe’s incredible wildlife. Post-safari, you’ll be transported back to your hotel in Victoria Falls, with an estimated arrival time of 18:00.
