Informative and well-paced tour - This was an excellent half-day tour that provided a lot of background and 'aha' moments to piece together things I'd learned on other tours. My guide was Kumar and I'd highly recommend requesting him if your main goal is to learn about Hyderabad's storied history. I was particularly fascinated by the Islamic influence of the Nizams and how their legacy continues to shape the city to this day.
The Irani Chai is probably the best I've had. We did a lot of walking which was a great change of pace from other tours which had a lot of time in the car (though they seem to be able to adapt the tour if you can't or don't want to do much walking). I also appreciated that Kumar was watching out for my safety every step of the way.
Overall it was an excellent tour and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hyderabad!

Interesting, quick sampling of Hyderabad sights - Our guide, Srinu, was amazing. He is very proud of Hyderabad and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the the region.
From our hotel, we had a long drive to first stop so he had a lot tell us.
Note: traffic in Hyderabad is crazy so be prepared for non-stop honking. No one seems angry or impatient -just like using their horns.
The places we visited were important to the history of Hyderabad and some are in the midst of significant restoration. This is an ancient land.
We did a fair amount of walking when we got to central part of city - got out of car to see some sights and later met driver/car further along.
Had a special stop at Nimrah Cafe & Bakery for Irani chai and sweet treats. Owner was very gracious and welcoming.
Walked past stores with window displays of the most beautiful fabrics, etc that are likely for weddings, etc. I kept stopping to admire - really gorgeous.
We popped into a multi-level store with handicrafts, fabrics/scarves/dresses and a section of their incredible rugs. TIP - don't gush over the rugs if you don't plan to buy. I found one I wanted but was not in my trip budget. The clerk was very persistent.
We skipped the pearl stop so cannot comment on it.
ASK QUESTIONS about whatever you are curious about - Srinu will enjoy sharing info about Hyderabad with you.

Great half day tour! - Great half day tour. Srinu was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would absolutely go on another tour with him. The sites visited are interesting and not part of the typical tourist agenda. If you want a half day tour that takes you to sites not typically scene by western tourists I’d highly recommend this tour.

Mr. Kumar was prompt and came to pick me up at 9 am. He gave me quite an exhaustive commentary on history, perspective as well as cultural knowledge of Hyderabad . I originally started off thinking it’s slightly pricey, but as the tour came to an end, I was very happy with the value received. The highlights were having Chai and Omani biscuits Whilst overlooking the Charminar and visiting the Paiga tombs

Delightful Tour - My half day tour of Hyderabad was truly enjoyable. Srinu, our guide, showcased remarkable knowledge about the city's history, highlighting captivating insights throughout the journey. He led us to hidden gems that I wasn't even aware existed, unveiling the city's rich tapestry of culture and heritage.
The pinnacle of the tour was undoubtedly the walking exploration of Charminar. This iconic landmark came alive under Srinu's guidance, revealing its intricate history and significance. To top it off, we indulged in a delightful cup of Iranian tea at Nimrah Cafe, adding a flavorful touch to our experience.
I must commend Saif for his skilled driving, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride throughout the excursion. Overall, it was an excellent tour that exceeded my expectations, thanks to the expertise of Srinu and the proficiency of Saif.

Paigah Tombs should be visited by more tourists, beautiful. - Sirinu was a good tour guide, giving historical information as we made our ways to different locations. Paigah Tombs was very interesting and watching them restore the stone was very interesting. I was very happy to have a tour guide to help me through Charminar area and I am grateful. The Chai and cookies shop was DELICIOUS and I would go back there again! Keep in mind the tour ends in shops that will try to sell you some (pretty expensive, but high quality) souvenirs. I ended up feeling uncomfortable towards the end due to the hard sell.

No show - poor experience - The guide never came as agreed. I called to the service, they said that they did not have a booking confirmation!! I had a clear confirmation in e-mail and the money was billed from credit card. It was the only possible time for me as I was on a hectic business trip so changing time was not an option. Terrible experience. Now I am waiting to get my money back.

History and some pressure for more $$ tour - Boring!!! AF! The tour guide said she been doing this tour for 20 years and it felt like her first time. The tour was very poorly plan out. She had us standing in the crazy streets of India and strangers was coming up to us in our face. When we asked what was stated, she said they want to know if we need a taxi. My gut was feeling like that was not the correct translation. I just had a strange feeling. She bought to building that was being repaired and had women and children there working covered in dust. As we walking back to where we left our shoes as we had to removed them to walk the grounds, she told us we NEEDED to pay the women. Which I did not as the tour description did not state this. She went to mentioned more than once. Which I told directly I would not. And she said she would do it and we can pay her back later. Which I pulled and the Viator tour details and told I did not see this on the Viator app. And she drop the topic. If I could I would give the a -1. I have done many tour before especially with Viator and this was the worst. Please retrain or get younger people to do the tour with an actual plan of where to go and see. Not a lady just wondering aimlessly around.
