Tombs, Tea, Market and History - This is a great option if you only have a few hours and want to learn about local history and culture. We saw the tombs, had chai tea, walked through a very busy market and learned about the history of this wonderful city.

Fabulous tour for anyone interested in history and culture - This was an exceptional tour, with so much packed into four hours. I was picked up promptly at my hotel and taken first to see the Paigah Tombs with their breath-taking architecture. Then on to the old city. First a lovely Irani chai at a renowned chai shop. Then on towards Charminar, with landmarks along the way; the Gulzar Houz fountain, a mosque with incredible mosaics, to name a few. A drive by the beautiful lake , opportunities to learn about India’s wealth of crafts and art forms. I could keep going. The tour was orchestrated by Srinivasan, a true scholar of Hyderabad! This tour is well worth your time!

Informative and well-paced tour - This was an excellent half-day tour that provided a lot of background and 'aha' moments to piece together things I'd learned on other tours. My guide was Kumar and I'd highly recommend requesting him if your main goal is to learn about Hyderabad's storied history. I was particularly fascinated by the Islamic influence of the Nizams and how their legacy continues to shape the city to this day. The Irani Chai is probably the best I've had. We did a lot of walking which was a great change of pace from other tours which had a lot of time in the car (though they seem to be able to adapt the tour if you can't or don't want to do much walking). I also appreciated that Kumar was watching out for my safety every step of the way. Overall it was an excellent tour and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hyderabad!

Interesting, quick sampling of Hyderabad sights - Our guide, Srinu, was amazing. He is very proud of Hyderabad and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the the region. From our hotel, we had a long drive to first stop so he had a lot tell us. Note: traffic in Hyderabad is crazy so be prepared for non-stop honking. No one seems angry or impatient -just like using their horns. The places we visited were important to the history of Hyderabad and some are in the midst of significant restoration. This is an ancient land. We did a fair amount of walking when we got to central part of city - got out of car to see some sights and later met driver/car further along. Had a special stop at Nimrah Cafe & Bakery for Irani chai and sweet treats. Owner was very gracious and welcoming. Walked past stores with window displays of the most beautiful fabrics, etc that are likely for weddings, etc. I kept stopping to admire - really gorgeous. We popped into a multi-level store with handicrafts, fabrics/scarves/dresses and a section of their incredible rugs. TIP - don't gush over the rugs if you don't plan to buy. I found one I wanted but was not in my trip budget. The clerk was very persistent. We skipped the pearl stop so cannot comment on it. ASK QUESTIONS about whatever you are curious about - Srinu will enjoy sharing info about Hyderabad with you.

Great half day tour! - Great half day tour. Srinu was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would absolutely go on another tour with him. The sites visited are interesting and not part of the typical tourist agenda. If you want a half day tour that takes you to sites not typically scene by western tourists I’d highly recommend this tour.

Mr. Kumar was prompt and came to pick me up at 9 am. He gave me quite an exhaustive commentary on history, perspective as well as cultural knowledge of Hyderabad . I originally started off thinking it’s slightly pricey, but as the tour came to an end, I was very happy with the value received. The highlights were having Chai and Omani biscuits Whilst overlooking the Charminar and visiting the Paiga tombs

Paigah Tombs should be visited by more tourists, beautiful. - Sirinu was a good tour guide, giving historical information as we made our ways to different locations. Paigah Tombs was very interesting and watching them restore the stone was very interesting. I was very happy to have a tour guide to help me through Charminar area and I am grateful. The Chai and cookies shop was DELICIOUS and I would go back there again! Keep in mind the tour ends in shops that will try to sell you some (pretty expensive, but high quality) souvenirs. I ended up feeling uncomfortable towards the end due to the hard sell.

Very knowledgeable guide, but hard sell in the stores was uncomfortable - I enjoyed the tour, especially the Paigah Tombs which were beautiful, and the chai cafe. We didn’t go to Chowmahalla Palace, or enter Charminar, or go to Mecca Masjid. At the end of the tour we visited a rug store and a pearl store and I felt very uncomfortable with the hard sell tactics and felt pressured to buy some things.
