- Hussain Sagar Lake - Hussain Sagar is a heart-shaped lake built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah in 1563 AD occupying 5.7 square kilometres and is fed by the River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake. It also separates the city centre of Hyderabad from its neighborhood Secunderabad. The maximum depth of the lake is 32 feet.

You will then continue to Lumbini park, head towards the Birla Temple Hills, and pass the state legislative assembly on your way to the ancient city region. Here, you’ll visit the age-old Nampalli train station, and the Badshahi Ashurkhana. The next part of your journey entails a walking tour through the markets rich in pearls, spices, and textiles, followed by Charkamans, ending at the iconic Charminar. An optional climb up the stairs (for which payment is required) offers a panoramic view of the city from the largest mosque. Savor the Irani chai at Bangle Street before concluding your tour at Paiga Tombs, from where you’ll be escorted back to your accommodation.
