The Ashur Khana stands today with enamel tiles that have retained their lustre and vibrant colours even after four centuries. The intricate design in hexagons is exquisite.\n\nit was built by Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah in 1594, three years after building the Charminar. The brilliantly coloured tile-mosaic decoration was completed under Abdullah Qutab Shah in 1611.\nAfter the Mughal conquest of Hyderabad, in a display of Sunni sectarianism, Aurangzeb used the ashurkhana as a horse stable for the Mughal cavalry.

Amazing experience - It's an eye-opening and wonderful experience to see the ancient and rural parts of Hyderabad. The tour guide was knowledgeable, helpful and gave an in-depth sharing of the history of Hyderabad

tour Guide for Hyderabad with Mohan Pyare - I reserved a Tour Guide for Hyderabad Old city Walk just the day before the tour. I was contacted by the guide in the morning through whatsapp .
My guide was Mohan Pyare; he was so kind to wait me due to the traffic. He is professional, available to take pics, accomplished, answering to all my questions. He shared some anecdotes, making the city even more interesting. He was a good company in my solo daily trip in Hyderabad.

A first class guide to incredible sites in Hyderabad - We had two half day tours, one in Hyderabad old town, one in Golconda /Qutb Shahi. In addition, Shrinu and the driver took us to Banjara Hills and to see the new government administration building, the huge statue and monument to the new state.
He is passionate about his city and his knowledge of its history is encyclopaedic! He gave us vital background to the monuments we visited, so we had a sense of how they fitted into the history of the subcontinent as a whole - and links to Persia and Turkey we knew nothing about. I really couldn’t imagine a better guide.
We also appreciated his allowing us a glimpse into his own life: his archaeological studies, his hopes for the future and his daughter’s education. Last but not least, thank you for the samosas from Char Minar market!

Srinu is a great guide, terrific day of sightseeing in Hyderabad - Srinu is a terrific guide. He is easy to work with, punctual and very knowledgeable. His english is great. He made Hyderabad come to life and taught us so much about its history. We never had to wait in lines, he grabbed us bottled water when we needed it and guided us to a great restaurant at the end of the tour.

Once in a LIFETIME - What a tour 🔥🔥
The tour guide has incredible knowledge about Old City Hyderabad from the time it was founded.
They will show you the hidden sites that nobody knows.
If you want to do a tour as a local and see places only very few local people know about please take the tour.
You'll come back enriched about having known about these places. Truly a ONCE in a lifetime tour
