Loved the butterfly tour & springs - would recommend booking through Manos going!! - We booked the butterfly & seven spring tours via Manos going directly and paid online - got a confirmation immediately & details of where our pick up would be and when. This was smooth and easy, from the bus stop just outside our hotel (the grand Mitsis) at around 9:20. The bus was easily recognisable & great condition, had air con and comfy seats! The bus driver was very friendly and made sure we were all on board before setting off to our first destination to see the butterflies. Arrived at butterfly valley, great to get out of the sun for a bit & walk through the lovely green valley and see the butterflies. As others have said, it is a little uneven under foot so not suitable for those with mobility issues and make sure you have good shoes on! The butterflies (moths) were visible everywhere & we even saw some little crabs moving around in the leaves. The hike completely to the top was a lot in the sun & the only thing up there is ice cream/drinks/a toilet so if you are already hot I would skip that part as all the same things are available at the bottom near the bus stop. Also don’t forget to explore the bottom part of the valley, walking through the little tunnel & looking at the lakes was also very pretty. The driver made sure we were all on rhe bus & then we set off again to seven springs. He showed us the way up & recommended the road back down if we were tired, he also told us the restaurant at the top was great for freshly cooked meats. We set off up the trail to seven springs, not much in the way of springs as we were there in a heatwave but the larger ones still remained!! It was great fun going through the tunnel in with the water running through it - this is quite long and a little thin in places, take some flip flops/beach shoes to go through it. This takes you out to the other side of the springs & you can then walk through to the waterfall. It is all very pretty & is free to enter so definitely worth going.

Good tour - Beautiful place. Very hilly at through the valley and at the top not much to see minus a model of the valley. The 7 springs was beautiful place. Walk through the tunnel to the waterfall was funny.

Great day trip - Lovely day trip with sufficient time for a good explore around both the Butterfly Valley and Seven Springs. Butterfly Valley - beautiful woodland location with lots of butterflies around to see. I will note that the upper trail is quite steeply uphill (although with stairs). It was around 38 degrees the day that we went so it was quite strenuous even for two active adults! Make sure to bring drinks with you as they’re pricey at the site. Seven Springs - another lovely woodland walk with plenty of wildlife. Would recommend decent walking shoes as the terrain is really uneven and there’s a couple of uphill scrambles. We didn’t do the tunnel but the alternative route to the lake is easy to navigate. Restaurant has reasonable prices too.

Not for faint hearted with walking issues - Picked up locally to hotel on time and transfered to seven springs valley, I wouldn't recommend this trip for those who have walking difficulties and not really suitable for young children as pathways are steep and uneven underfoot. A nice walk in the cool and shade but not a huge amount to see. Restaurant at the top with toilet facilties and a shop .

Bad water and dangerous walking! - You expect water in Seven Springs, but it was pretty much completely dry. Rugged terrain to walk in and sometimes dangerous because lack of protection on a narrow and stony path with a drop off to one side! Sturdy shoes and fitness are recommended.

Cast out - Not a single poor butterfly! When we arrive by bus and go to the entrance to pay, the lady at the checkout says: Are you sure you want to go in, there are no butterflies until June!!! This was a total miss that the organizer should know about and why not organize transport there before June😡
