Highlights
 • Krka National Park - Upon arriving to the NP entrance, you will head to Skradinski Buk, the last of seven waterfalls on the beautiful Krka River. Skradinski Buk isn’t actually a single waterfall but rather a long series of cascades that spill over countless travertine rock formations. In total, the water tumbles nearly 46m into a crystal-clear pool before making its way out to the Adriatic Sea.\n\nThe forest of conifers and hornbeams that crowds the riverbank is just as spectacular, as is the surrounding vegetation. There are low thickets, reedy wetlands and open grasslands with flowering plants like scorpion senna’s and chimney bellflowers.\n\nBecause the national park is strictly protected, it supports abundant wildlife. You may spot sleek otters playing in the water, colorful Cleopatra butterflies flitting about, and a variety of indigenous and migratory birds. More than 200 avian species nest in Krka National Park, including the regal golden eagle and lightning-fast peregrine falcon.

Krka National Park is situated within the Sibenik-Knin County, alongside the Krka River. Once we reach the park, you can marvel at the last set of cascades before the river merges with the sea. The Skradinski Buk Falls bring forth a stunning multi-tiered waterfall cascading over travertine cliffs. Recognized as Europe’s most beautiful waterfall, it towers at 46 meters high, setting the record for the tallest travertine (gypsum) barrier in Europe. Beyond the cascades lies a vast plateau boasting remarkable views and an ideal photo spot. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore a quaint ethnological exhibition and an old mill. The entire park is teeming with a diversity of plant and wildlife. Owing to rigorous new conservation laws, this remarkable area has been maintained in its pristine condition.

This tour was superb. We booked it... -
This tour was superb. We booked it as a shore excursion for our eight family members and couldn't be happier. Our guide tried to show us as much as possible and was very knowledgeable. We first went to the national park while driving along a lovely coastline. Then, those who were able, hiked down to a gorgeous waterfall. After that, we went back to the historic old walled town, which is a World Heritage site and had a walking tour. Very good value for the money spent.
