Great bang for the buck! - This was a great tour and i highly recommend it! Our tour guide Branimir was amazing, full of good advice and interesting information, he was very flexible and also took us places that were not on the itinerary but were really beautiful. We were also very lucky weatherwise, we had calm sunny weather on the glacier hike, bright sun on Diamond Beach and we also experienced gale-force winds on the Reynisfjara beach that matched the black sands and basalt columns. The tour was very well designed and although we drove a little over 400km each day, we never got bored, we had very well thought stops, we ate at nice places and the landmarks we saw were amazing.
The glacier hike was one of the best things i did in my life, especially walking through the crevasses in the glacier. We did see a small ice cave, but the crevasses were the most amazing experience. The guide was nice and helpful and patient and the four hours of the hike went by very quickly and nothing was dangerous or strenuous.
We spent the night at a guesthouse with comfortable rooms and really good food for dinner, and the location was wildly beautiful. We even saw the Northern lights -more muted than they look in pictures, but the forecast was really against us.
Overall it was a great experience and i highly recommend this tour! It gives you a good idea about how southern Iceland is like, and it left us with amazing memories and pictures.

Beware!Hike is way more difficult than advertised - This tour was fantastic. We got to see a huge amount of the Southern coast, multiple locations and a ton of photo ops. We also lucked into 2 days of sunshine in January so this may not be the normal experience. Our tour guide, Bronn from Serbia, was absolutely the best. Clear instructions on safety, schedule, food and photos. (And he brought my wife a piece of 🎂 cake on her big day. My only complaint is the communication / information provided by the tour company prior. The description said the glacier hike is easy. It is not if you aren't an experienced hiker / or use to walking long distances. The tour was over 5 miles, a lot of it up steep inclines and ice steps while wearing crampons. And you move at a fast pace. No water is provided or available at any point so be prepared. It was a fairly strenuous hike and I do 3 - 5 mile walks frequently. Our guide, Ellana was great. 2 thumbs up! Accommodations that night were simple but comfortable. Day 2 was much easiier. Stops along the coast at beaches, Vik, horses and waterfalls. Very beautiful and very enjoyable. We felt 1 base layer of insulation clothing with water resistant outer lair a jacket was more than warm enough for each day. All in all, a great experience but getting detailed info on stops, what to bring, food options or advice from the tour company prior to arriving Iceland was not possible even with several emails asking detailed questions. We were just told pack warm clothes and the schedule is on the site. It is not. The stops are listed, but a schedule would have been helpful in how we packed and what we made available in our carry pack. Again, guides and experiences - amazing. The companies descriptions and communication- poor.

Glacier hiking and ice caves are a must! It was the best night and two days. - We had a great night and two days with funky and cheerful guide Branimir and 12 multinational participants from Japan, Central America and Canada.
After reading the weather, Branimir and his team decided that the first day was only about travel and glacier hiking. It was cloudy, but walking around on ice with incredible clarity and mysterious blueness, through ice caves, through ice valleys in single columns… That excitement was hard to describe. My wife also wants to go.
Stay at the guesthouse. It had the taste of a large pension, but there were no major deficiencies in the facilities, and at night it was quiet and I could rest slowly.
On the second day, it turned out to be rain or snowstorm all day, and on the first day, the glaciers we walked were in fog. I don't think the hike would have been possible without the change of plans.
Diamond Beach, the glacial lake, was beautiful and majestic, and I enjoyed it well in the sleet rain.
Blacksand Beach became a sightseeing destination during the storm, and this was tough. I really recommend having a full body waterproof and windproof. It is also better to leave backpacks and other luggage on the bus as much as possible in bad weather.
By the time I saw the two waterfalls, it was snowing and it was a very romantic sightseeing experience. Snow hits your face and hurts when the wind blows, so it's handy to have a large neck warmer or face mask that can be used for skiing.
On both days, we would have lunch at a gas station or a restaurant at a tourist facility during the trip, but since the time was limited and it would be crowded with other tourists, I felt that it would be less stressful to finish it quickly with soup, sandwiches, etc., and bring sweets and other items to make the transition.
Weather-wise, it was half good and half disappointing, but fortunately there was no process skipping or dishonest handling as was the case with other reviews.
Rather, the process change was also a fine play, and on the whole it was a very satisfying tour.
Thank you so much Branimir and all guys!

Unexpected Northen light - Had the best experience with Troll. Our guide Stefan was very enthousiast and a good story teller. Thanks to him we could see the northern light even though we weren’t expecting to see it. He check the weather for us and bought us to a nice place after the end of the first day to witness our first northern light. It was amazing! Also, about the timing of the trip, everything was well organised and we had plenty of time to enjoy the different spots. The diamond beach and glacier lagoon were my favourite. Truly beautiful.

Finish the tour. - Enjoyed the maximum of the tour you could see in the southern part of Iceland. Through the tour, we were able to experience real Iceland. It was more fun to be with a pleasant guide.
Although the tour schedule was too tight, there was not enough time to go around, but I think it is an indispensable part for various experiences.
Thank you for participating in a fun and memorable tour!

Like Adventure? Book it! - This was an excellent trip. Julianna was an incredible tour guide who was very nice, patient, and always had a smile on her face. She helped make sure the trip was amazing. Within two days, we traveled across the south coast, stopping at several beautiful places along the way. The glacier hike in particular was a highlight of our tour, thanks to the fantastic expert guides there. Highly recommend this trip if you're into an adventure.
