Flexible and friendly - The perfect way to get to your destination in Reykjavik as the company takes you there by shuttle, at the time you need them, not on a fixed schedule.

Easy once at BSI station - Was easy, plenty of room for our ton of luggage under the bus. Can book direct also but nice to have ticket on APP We were 2 persons, cost $60 total. Left from BSI bus terminal so we had to can it from there cost $15 Cab to airport from hotel was Isk20,000=$144 so you decide. For us $75 vs $144 was worth it. They have very kids buses.

Good Service - The buses to and from the airport were really comfortable and timely. Drivers were polite. The shuttle to the hotels from the bus station was really convenient

Best way to get to the International Airport - Inexpensive and efficient. However, if you are not catching a plane the same day or want to do anything else in the area, you have to take a taxi to your hotel or restaurant...and they are pricey.

Would use the bus transfer company directly to book tickets - Once on the bus and seated, everything was great. But having used Viator to book the bus transfer, the bus line (flybus) did not make it easy to get on the bus. The Viator ticket had a bar code, but flybus has no way to scan this bar code, so the person checking tickets was difficult about simply let us on the bus. He needed all this extra documentation that was a huge hassle. In the end, knowing what I know now, I would have booked my tickets for bus transfers with flybus directly and not used Viator. Had the same problem with the transfer from the airport (along with the complete lack of Viator signage at the airport). I’d stick to using Viator for things like excursions, which we used for a whale/puffin watching tour.

Buyer beware. - We spent $20 USD to choose our two seats. They changed the type of plane and as a result we not only lost our chosen seats, we were no longer sitting together. My spouse called the airline (he's very polite) and asked if we could get seats together, especially considering we had paid for our seats. He was told by the customer service rep there was nothing he could do and then the call was "disconnected." My husband called back and was told again that there was nothing they could do and that they don't do refunds. There were two seats together one row back from the seats we paid for. He asked for those seats and the new customer service rep said we could ask for those at the desk when we got to the airport the next day. Knowing they would no longer be available at that point he kept asking. The rep then talked to the manager and then said "she could do it just this one time." You would think she was going above and beyond when all we got was hassle and what we paid for. In terms of "not doing refunds" since when has it become legal for a company to charge for something, fail to provide it and keep the money? I'm sure they aren't the only airline to do this but our experience with customer service was poor and left a bad taste.

No Viator signage to know where to go - Once getting ON the bus, everything was great. The problem was figuring out where to go to check in. There was a bus transfer desk that mentioned nothing about being afilliated with Viator. We kept looking for Viator signage and found none. That would have been nice to know ahead of time, or knowing the name of the bus company.

Not worth the money - run like a third world bus service - As a family, we arrived at Keflavik airport (Reykjavik's International Airport) and given the cost of everything in Iceland we opted to take the transfer bus. These buses do not leave at set times - they only get moving when the bus is full. So you can be stuck waiting for the bus to fill up for quite a while (a hot, stuffy bus with little legroom). So your trip into Reykjavik ends up even longer than normal. The bus is really expensive for what it is (3,500 Icelandic Kroner - 23 Euros). It creeps along, there's no wi-fi and the bus isn't in the best condition (cramped, and precious little leg room). It creeps along the highway and the journey itself takes around 50 minutes. It then drops you at the bus station - which is pretty much on the edge of town, with few local buses present. So you end up having to take a taxi to wherever you're going to next. In the end, the bus costs you 3,500 per adult (around 23 Euros), and then you end up taking a taxi that costs around the same to wherever you're going in Reykjavik. So, for two people a one way trip can end up around 10,000 Icelandic Kroner - including the taxi, which is a little bit lower than getting a taxi straight from the airport to your destination. Worth bearing in mind!

Standing is Only Option at Departing Gate - At Keflavik Airport (KEF) taking a flight to the USA. Assigned departing gate is D35. We get to D35 and find a line of people queued up at a D35 sign in the middle of a large corridor. There is no gate, no seating, no gate attendants, nothing. About one hour into the standing wait some Iceland Air staff arrive and begin to process us through to get on the aircraft. Then there is another ~30 minute delay due to the late arrival of the crew. More standing until we eventually can make our way onto the aircraft for a very late departure.

A bus with no rules that deliberately deceives customers - The most important thing is that this bus is often late. When I asked, they said that it is reasonable for all buses to be delayed by more than 50 minutes every day. If you don't want to waste time waiting in the cold wind and delay your subsequent trip because of their indifference, I suggest you change to another bus company, Bus Hotel Reykjavik, they are on time and cheaper.
