Ticked off the bucket list - This was definitely a highlight of our holiday. Well organised and extremely enjoyable from start to finish. The drive is a little long from Reykjavik but that’s because you are travelling to the glacier. The whole day was definitely a bucket list day. Experience the vastness of this amazing country. So much fun too.

AWEsome experience. - What a mad day out it. Pick up in a Superjeep bus and taken to the glacier - it takes a while but the Icelandic scenery never fails to blow me away. After changing into the bulky kit and a safety and use instruction we were off. We were very well looked after by the guides and it was an amazing experience - our guide Thomas was great. Be prepared to be cold - you're on a glacier - brrr... I would have loved more time to get used to the snowmobile but it was a great introduction to it.

this day was fantastic. - This was an amazing experience! The snowmobiling was incredible, I’d definitely recommend if you’re considering. The guide was very knowledgeable and made it an overall great day. We got to see all of the golden circle with plenty of time at stops to get food/coffee, etc. It was also great to be in a smaller group tour size

Definitely for adrenaline junkies, but it felt so short. - Although the tour for me took 7-8 hours, it was mostly spent on the commute from Reykjavik. We only spent an hour on the ice, and to be honest it felt like it ended way too soon, especially for paying around $280 USD for the experience. Still, it was fun however. Bjorguin was an extremely fun guide. Very accommodating and friendly and was more than willing to pelt us with snowballs. He was also cautious in making sure we didn't stray along the path for safety, but also gave us a few moments here and there to go a little crazy when the area was safe. If you are worried about it being boring and too slow, trust me you can make yourself go very fast if you want too. All you need to do is slow down a little then speed up very quickly. You won't be able to ride solo and go full speed however if that is what you were looking for. I was afraid I would be bored because we would have to stick with the group, but I still found it to be very fun. If you have a lot of money to spare and/or have never rode a snowboard, definitely try it out. I would honestly recommend pairing this with an ice cave tour if you can; it would be more worth to see more things given the long commute times.

Disappointed - Make sure you confirm with the actual tour operator that they have your booking. Even if it says confirmed on this website. We sat at the bus stop in -3 rain to be told an hour after the departure time that the tour provider didn’t receive our booking. No rebooking or recovery options. Just a “sorry” and a refund.
