• Kleifarvatn Lake - After picking you up from your accommodation in approximately 35 min. drive, our very first stop will be Kleifarvatn, the largest lake on the peninsula. Its southern part is warm from hot springs running into the lake but is otherwise very cold. It’s a perfect place for photographing because of its volcanic surroundings and bright blue water.
• Krysuvik - After short 10 min drive our second stop will be the geothermal springs of Krýsuvík, located on the middle of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Dramatically coloured hills create a beautiful view over the volcanic vents and boiling hot springs.
• Grindavik - After spending time at Krysuvík we will be driving for 25 min to our next stop, the fishing town of Grindavík. The town is somewhat isolated in a small inlet on the very southwestern most corner of the peninsula.
• Brimketill - Brimketill lava rock pool is next up after 15 min drive. A little pool right on the edge of land is supposedly occupied by a giantess named Oddný by folklore tales. The viewing platform above offers the possibility of getting soaked from the waves splashing against the rocks.
• Gunnuhver Hot Springs - Very closed by is Gunnuhver hot spring where it will be our next stop. Its boiling water and mud pools were said in earlier times to get their energy from a ghost trapped underground by a priest.
• Reykjanes Lighthouse - Our next stop after 30 min drive will be Reykjanes lighthouse, Iceland’s very first lighthouse, built in 1878 but destroyed by an earthquake eight years later and then rebuilt entirely in 1929.
• Bridge Between Continents - Not very far away is our next stop, the world-famous bridge—the bridge between Europe and America. The earth’s tectonic plates, namely the European and the North American plates, meet there and form the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
• Blue Lagoon - The one and only Blue Lagoon will be our final sighting of our tour. We offer a viewing of the lagoon that you will never forget.

We kick off our journey across the Reykjanes peninsula either from Reykjavík city or Keflavik airport. Our initial destination is Kleifarvatn, the largest lake on the peninsula. Following this, we move to Krýsuvík’s geothermal springs, situated in the heart of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. We then head to the fishing municipality of Grindavík. Our subsequent attraction is Brimketill, a tiny lava rock pool perched on the land’s brink. Gunnuhver hot spring is next on the itinerary, known for its bubbling water and mud pools. In close proximity stands the Reykjanes lighthouse, which claimed the title of Iceland’s inaugural lighthouse but was devastated by an earthquake just eight years post its construction in 1878. Nearby, you will witness the unique cliffs and rocks of Valahnúkar and Valahnúkamöl, a testimony to the peninsula’s oldest lava. Moving ahead, we explore the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, the meeting point of the European and North American tectonic plates. Sandvík, a picturesque beach, famed for its predominantly black sands, is our next halt. Wrapping up our exciting journey is the renowned Blue Lagoon.
