The tour proceeds under the sea via a 6km tunnel through Hvalfjördur, taking you to quaint towns and fishing communities, and offers views of awe-inspiring avian cliffs and shorelines. The expedition halts at the stunning Kirkjufell Mountain, recognizably resembling a church, which is paired with a charming little cascade across the lane. The tour includes a stop at Djúpalónssandur beach (might be unreachable during winter), where the brave-hearted can test their mettle with the Stones of Trial.
The complete trip around the Snaefellsnes Peninsula offers numerous vistas of the majestic Snæfellsjökull Glacier Volcano. It is important to note that this tour does not include venturing onto the ice cap itself.
