Rumor has it that a monster has stayed at Kleifarvatn and is seen there every now and then. Supposed to have been a worm monster, black in color and about the size of a large whale.
- Seltún Geothermal Area - Seltún has many mudpots and fumaroles, and minerals deposited from geothermal solutions provide colorful sediments. The area is extremely colorful due to mineral deposits from geothermal solutions.
- Fagradalsfjall Volcano Eruptions: 2023, 2022, 2021 - This tour explores the Reykjanes Peninsula which is located a short drive from the capital Reykjavík. The peninsula is situated on the fissure line of the mid-Atlantic ridge which is the cause of all the eruptions, earthquakes and other seismic activity in the region. This is Iceland´s most recently active volcano. This is a rare opportunity indeed as there have been very few easily accessible and safe to visit active volcanoes in Iceland in living memory.
- Gunnuhver Hot Springs - The mud pools take form where steam from boiling geothermal reservoir water emanates and condenses and mixes with surface water. Accompanying gases such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide make the water acid. This causes alteration of the fresh lava rock to clay.
- Reykjanes Lighthouse - The first lighthouse in Iceland was built on Valahnúkur in Reykjanes in the year 1878. In 1905 earthquakes and big waves had done a lot of damage later causing it to be demolished. A new lighthouse was therefore built on Bæjarfell hill in Reykjanes.
