Great discovery - Island which resembles Corsica but more desert. Pretty villages, beautiful landscapes and excellent road infrastructure. The typical restaurants are very good and inexpensive. Mild weather with 28° in September and the water at 25°. Beautiful beaches and everything to relax

Experience to relive - We enjoyed the view throughout the cruise. In addition, we were able to enjoy the beach with shells and white sand for 3 hours. But also dives where we admired aquatic species. The only drawback of the cruise was that we were not informed in advance that the boats could no longer dock at the beach. We therefore had to buy a waterproof bag on board the boat in order to swim the tens of meters from the boat to the beach. However, this experience was wonderful for us, we highly recommend this cruise.

Be carefull, it is not... - Be carefull, it is not just simple ferry which brings you from Crete to the Chrisi Island, during our trip we were informed that we’ll have to swim by our own from the ferry to the Island, we were shocked about that, as we prepared for the easy day at the beach with coctails in ananas, but nothing even familiar to that. The ferry was swinging because of waves and if you have a sea sick, please skip this tour. Overall, if we would be prepared for that without any shock the tour would be wonderfull, the colour of the water like in Maldives, just like in heaven, despite of shock, we’ll remember this beach probably for the rest of our life

Nothing like the brochures - Currently after a long regeneration the islands is open again, the brochures seem amazing with walkways through the island and a beach place with umbrellas. The reality is it’s all gone and your only allowed to walk to the golden beach with no access to food water or umbrellas, we wondered off and the tracks are broken, sign posts fallen and generally the tourist aspect is gone. I wouldn’t recommend there is no wildlife Whats so ever, the island is hot and not recommended if you have elderly or kids.

Original, magnificent to see provided you are prepared - Excursion on August 10, 2023! ! 2h30 of views with a guide that we could have done without! For this outing, the first obligation is to know how to swim and bring beach shoes, masks, snorkels and a waterproof bag! In fact, the boat drops you off 50 m from the bank and you swim with your bag to the rocky beach! Rescue nets available! Paradise site with transparent water! On the island, no parasols, no deckchairs, just beautiful trees to protect you! 4 hrs to enjoy the island or stay on the boat and swim around! We didn't have this information when we left, too bad the excursion would have been more fun because the rocks hurt our feet!! Above all, knowing how to swim, the crew of the boat (100 people) is watching, but hey! To do again by renting a car and taking the ticket without meals because the meal is very average with the equipment!

A limited trip to Chrissi Island - The journey in the boat was pleasant and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was good. However, as an experience of Chrissi Island it was far too limited. The boat did not even go around the island and there was never any descriptive commentary of what one could see. The only 'experience was a visit to a single beach (for more than 3 hours) where the chance to swim to the shore was offered. A useful addition for the people who could not swim would be the use of a small dingy for trips to the beach (a couple of minutes there and back).

To avoid: no access to the island - To avoid! After a one hour journey , the boat stopped 200m from the island, and the crew told us to jump and swim !!!!! No one had told us that the island was closed and only accessible by swimming (a long swim with deep water for half of it - see the picture). You are not able to bring anything on the island (towels/phone) as it would be dumped, and you need to be a good swimmer. It ruined our entire experience, and the one of other passenger on the boat, furious as well. Despite talking over the phone, on WhatsApp or by email, nowhere was it mentionned that we needed to swim. We spent 140€ (4x35€) for not even being able to enjoy the beach. Too bad cause it is a wonderful island : the cruise company just was not truthful. Do not recommend.

False advertising - Didn’t go when I found out by reading other’s reviews that ,in fact, you don’t really go to the island. You go around it on a big boat. So, not a charming sailboat like in the picture and not to the island. I was a sucker, they got my money…don’t do it.

Terrible - This is a scam. Everybody in the boat we went was deceived. now it is not possible to go to the island. The boat just goes near and you swim, and pass the day in the boat but they don't tell you that when they sell you the tickets. It was horrible. we though we were going to pass the day at a beach and is not true. People went with kids toke sunshades and no one knew it was not possible to go to the island. the kids can't swim because of the current is not safe...so the just spend a day inside a boat not doing anything
