Poseidon’s Temple from the Sea - George was a fantastic host and very knowledgeable. Flexed schedule towards what we wanted to do. Danae was very nice picking us up. George had George our captain, take the boat to see the Temple of Poseidon first. Great views of the historic site. Then we went to a hidden cave and finally to a place to swim and snorkel. Family Favorite for Our Trip to Athens - This was everyone in my family's (2 parents, 2 tweens and an almost 8 yr old) favorite tour we took in Athens. George made us feel like old friends. He was friendly, informative and engaging. The skipper was also kind and helpful. The wind conditions on the water would have made it difficult to sail to Poseidon's temple that day. Instead, we snorkeled, swam and paddle boarded in a beautiful spot closer to Athens proper. We even saw a sunken ship wreck. It was hard to get everyone out of the water after hours of fun. We then headed back to port and drove the scenic route along the water to Poseidon's Temple. George shared some interesting lesser known WWII history along the way and stopped at monument to Italian Soldiers that were killed by the Germans after their surrender at the end of WWII. We then went to the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio. It was extremely windy, but the views were breath taken. I would highly recommend this tour and will definitely do it or something else with George and Extreme Divers again, if/when we return to Athens.

Greece Trip! - George was outstanding! We could not have asked for a better time while visiting Greece. George coordinated everything perfectly from start to finish and treated us like family. I cannot say enough about his hospitality. 100% five stares and would give more if I could. Thank you George!!!!

I don’t ever want to visit Greece without George!! - We did two separate excursions with George. Our group had a variety of needs and George met and exceeded them all. We had an experienced diver, a few snorkelers and a few that needed additional assistance and George was knowledgeable and prepared for it all. The boat and equipment were well maintained, he took us to secluded and beautiful locations that fit all of our needs and always had our safety in mind. The second day with George took us to cities that were highly recommended by him and other we spoke to and definitely would not have been on any other tour website. He was funny, engaging and full of information. It is very evident that he not only loves his country but also loves his job. I’m already working on plans to return with my daughter and will absolutely be booking him again.

First time snorkeling with excited girls. - Great experience. Everything was done safely with our small girls. They had a blast. They took us out to a secluded cove that was protected by the waves and had a small beach. They even brought a SUP to play with. Then we went to the temple of Poseidon which had magnificent views. George and skipper George took very good care of us.

Amazing Experience - The private cruise was an amazing experience. In the e-mail exchange before the event George was very helpful and gave me great tips and suggestions. On the day of the cruise, everything ran perfectly. The cruise was well-structured and engaging. George and his skipper took us to different interesting places, were we could swim and snorkel. Throughout the event, the crew was highly customer-oriented. They always made it clear that us having a great experience was their highest priority because they always asked our input for what we want and were available to answer questions and provide assistance. George and his skipper were very professional, easygoing and likable. If you want to take a private cruise that is highly customized to your wishes and liking I would highly recommend the provider “Athens by boat”.

Worth it - I have another review under "Extreme Divers". George, Evan and Amelia were *terrific*. Easy to work with, fast replies to emails, details of the trip are worked out in advance (with great clarity) and fun. George is a terrific guide - full of information and patience. You'll find the organization is honest, reasonably priced and worth your time and money. Please give this event serious consideration - you can't go wrong. NOTE: They adhere to strict COVID safety guidelines. We even got a Rapid Test the morning of the event in accordance with local / state guidelines.

Highlight of our Trip to Athens - My family of 4 (two teenagers) spent the day snorkeling with George and his crew on our way to the Sounio Cape. George was AMAZING and very knowledgeable. He and his crew are completely trustworthy. We were able to tailor our trip to meet our needs and requests. At the end of the day, George dropped us off at a recommended restaurant with the best views of Athens, and the food did not disappoint. By the end of the day, we had made a new friend, and we will definitely book this trip again with George and his family run business when we return to Athens. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you George for showing us an amazing time!!

Great activity!!! - We took the private tour with a group of 8 friends and it was very well organised. We were picked up at our hotel in the center of Athens. There was a lot of swimming and snorkling during the tour and the two guides took all the time for us. I would definitely recommend to do this trip.

Amazing Day, Loved every minute!!! - My 2 young adult children and I had an amazing day at sea. We had a windy day and I was a little worried if that would interfere with our day, but George took excellent care of us. He knew all the places to visit on a windy day to ensure our safety and comfort. He picked us up at our hotel, had plenty of water and yummy pastries and fruit for us. We ended up driving to Poseidon’s Temple to explore the ruins due to the wind, so we could maximize our snorkeling time. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Greece. He speaks excellent English. George recommended a great local restaurant basically unknown to tourists, and due to them not offering an English menu he came up with us, made recommendations, showed us the freshest best fish to order and helped us order. We had an amazing meal looking over the city of Athens. We would highly recommend this tour.
