Damajagua falls and zipline - We had a great time doing the Damajagua falls and zipline tour, booked on their website with pickup from Amber Cove. Milton was our driver and he gave us interesting information both to and from the falls. On the drive back, he offered us pop or the local mixed alcohol Mama Juana, which was very good. Great time on a picturesque island.

Great experience, a must see! - I would highly recommend visiting the Damajagua Falls Tour led by Marysol Tours. A good local family company. We always contact local companies rather than book through the cruise lines. They are very aware of the ships schedule and when you have to return. We did have to walk quite a bit from the ship to meet the van but it was worth the cost savings. This was also communicated to us before meeting up with them, so we knew what to expect. We met with Francisco and we were on our way. On the way to the Falls, he answered our questions about the island while pointing our sites along the way. Once arriving at the Falls, we were outfitted with a life jacket and helmet. From there we began our 30 - 40 minute walk to the top of the hill. Once we arrived at the top, we started our way down via the nature water slide (or you could jump on some of the falls). Everyone in our family and included the others we were grouped with had an incredible time.

Fun 7 Falls from Amber Cove - Marysol Tours coordinated the Damajagua Falls visit for us, everything from the start to the end was excellent. Our guide Jesus had refreshments for us, instructed us along the way to the Falls (aprox 30min) and once there we joined a bigger group but he was always attentive of us making sure we weren't lost. Then the falls walk started, is not a difficult walk, it does takes long because of the few stops on the way so people breath a little and discuss falls safety during the last stop (we are in the low 40's, like hiking and felt we could have done it a lot faster than the aprox 40-45 minutes it took). Only the 7 Falls was available and I believe only 2 were available to jump, the rest are water slides. First jump (which is actually the first fall) is about 12ft jump and second jump (which I believe is either the 5th or 6th fall) is about 16ft jump. I had a 360 camera with me to record our jumps but we were offered photos and videos for $45 and decided to use their service and the results were pretty good and stress free since I left my 360 camera with Jesus. On our way back there was a stop at a chocolate, coffee, art place which was very interesting and then Jesus recommended us a restaurant since we wanted to eat local food before returning to the ship. Overall it was a fantastic tour from Marysol Tours and will recommend. Thanks.

Great experience! - Our family did a Waterfall Excursion with this tour company. I would give them a 10/10 if I could. We had a group of 26 and they were great. They were on time, they were friendly, and very professional. We absolutely loved our tour guide Jesus! Muchas gracias por todo Jesus.

Great Damajagua Waterfalls tour! - Great Damajagua Waterfalls tour with Marysol Tours! Jesus (Marysol guide) and Ricardo (driver) took great care of us --- coming and going to the falls, as well as providing much helpful information! Once at the falls, Jordan was an outstanding guide! Thanks to Francisco at Marysol for arranging this for us! Our favorite excursion on our cruise!

Best tour Ever - Our excursion was the falls and dune buggy tour. Francisco was our tour guide and I can't express enough how Awesome he is. He was waiting for us outside the port. First he took us to the falls which was Amazing. After that we were starving so we asked him to stop and eat. He found a place for us to get lunch then took us to the dune buggy tour where he waited there for us to get back. Then he dropped us back at the port that's when I realized I left my phone on the buggy. We immediately got in touch with Francisco and he offered to go get it and ship it to me. I received it a few days later. That tells you what kind of guy he is honest and willing to help any way he can. We definitely recommend this excursion. Thank you Francisco for going above and beyond. We had a Blast!!!

BEST DAY EVER!!!! - This was the most AMAZING day!! It started from the time I contacted Marysol Tours and spoke with Francisco. He is polite and informative. He picked us up and was our personal escort for the day. We went to the falls where Franciso made sure we had a guide who watched out for us and took pictures and videos for us the whole time, stopped at a market for a quick lunch and Francisco went in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. He then took us to the buggy's and waited for us to be finished and took us by a pharmacy on our way back to the boat because one of my friends needed allergy medication. My friend accidentally left her phone at the buggy place and Francisco shipped it back to us Fed ex and we received in 1 day!!! To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. The falls and the buggy's were an experience we will never forget thanks to the hospitality shown to us by Franciso. Do not book with anyone else. They deserve 100 stars! Thank you Francisco and Marysol Tours

Falls and tour was great but didn't get what was expected - We came by cruise ship and had good communication prior to our arrival. Once we got there, they had someone waiting for us with a sign (although they did originally put us on the wrong tour bus but quickly changed us). We were the only family on our bus/tour. The visitors center is really nice and laid out well. They do have lockers to check in any items you don't want to take with us (but it does cost depending on how much you have. Ours was $4.00).
We were told to wait around because they were waiting for other groups. At this time we were informed that our guide with Marysol would not be taking us due to health restrictions and we would be joining another (cruise ship) tour. Although I understand, I was a little disappointed knowing we booked a private tour with them and would still be with a large cruise ship crowd. I felt like they should have told us this during booking. We were looking for that personal one on one experience, which is why we booked with private instead of the cruise ship!
We noticed others were starting to gear up and we were rushed over with them to catch up...then started our hike. There were bridges, dirt trails, wooden trails and rocks. The walk was easy and the surroundings were beautiful along the way. Then you start to climb the stairs....WHEW! There are a lot and this tour is not for those with mobility issues. It will wear you out! They did stop several times along the way, both on benches and also on the stairs, to catch your breath. It's a real work out!
The falls were absolutely GORGEOUS! You do have the option (If you chicken out) to take the stairs down. But jumping is what you are here for. DO IT! It was so thrilling and exciting! The water is such a pretty blue color. Some of the falls you jump and others you slide. I believe we did 7 falls that day (or so they said).
Then you walk back, which is a lot easier! After returning, we were served lunch (buffet) and it was really good! They also provided water to drink, but there is a stand there to buy soda/pop if you'd like or other drinks. Then they bring you back to the bus and take you back to the port.
All in all, I highly recommend this tour. It's definitely something you should experience when in the DR. However, the tour we were put on didn't pay attention to us or give us that one on one experience we had hoped for.

Loved the tour not the bus - We did the falls during rain so not beautiful water and hike a bit harder. Still loved it. Only negative when we finished hike we were told 5 minutes till bus leaves. Had to run to quickly shower because extremely muddy and no time to get souvenirs.
We tipped the great tour people but not the bus people.
