Walk in the Atlas Mountains - Just got back from a great day trip to the Atlas Mountains. Both Yassine and Hussain were great. Picked up from our riad at the specified time and delivered safely to the village in the mountains. Great walk around the area, including the waterfalls followed by a great kefta tagine late lunch. Dropped back at riad in time for tea. Thanks again team for a great day out.

Very good day trip - This is a very good trip if you are based in Marrakech and want to experience a bit of the Atlas Mountains. We visited a women's cooperative making argan oil products, hiked to a waterfall and had a delicious lunch at a Berber village house. Many thanks to our driver Mohamed and guide Hassan.

Hassan Toudaoui the guide you all need - If you are going to do this trip, dont do it with anybody else except Hassan Toudaoui. He is an absolute legend, hes patient, kind and very considerate. He took us on the most beautiful trip through all of the villages, taking us through the most scenic of routes. May i also add, is not for the faint of heart, or those with weak stamina, as we hiked up mountain, so come prepared with the correct outerwear. Hassan has extended knowledge of the villages and mountains, as he was raised there so dont worry about coming off track. He gave us several bottles of water, and even carried them for us before we could protest. He then took us to a wonderful Riyad in his village where we ate the most delicious morrocan meal and coffee, as well as mint tea. This also included a stunning view to the rest of mountains and the journey you have travelled. The Berber people were welcoming and kind, and greeted us as we passed although they did not speak english. We were sold some beautiful bangles with the most gorgeous designs for a small price. The children are well mannered and very engaging. We felt extremely submerged into Moroccan culture and i couldnt recommend this trip enough. Thank you so much Hassan for the amazing time we had.

Amazing Experience - My husband and I were in Marrakech for our honeymoon in June of 2023. We booked the Atlas Mountain & Berber Villages Day Trip through Trekking in Morocco. We had an absolute fantastic time. Our driver was on time picking us up and was very knowledgeable on our drive to the mountains; answering questions and telling us stories of the locals. Every time we passed someone on the side of the road he would say hello because he knew everyone! It was awesome. When we got there, our guide, Hassan Toudaoui, took us on an incredible hike. The lunch we had in the villages was delicious and the views were breathtaking. I highly recommend this day trip if you are in Marrakech and want to check out the mountains and experience the local livelihood and traditions!

Amazing Experience! - Booked through tripadvisor- "Atlas Mountain and Berber Villages and
Waterfalls Day Trip from Marrakech
Group Tour" ($40.22/£32.21 for 2ppl)
'Said' picked us up from hotel on time & was a excellent guide showing us all the history and giving us interesting facts as we drove past everything.
'Said' was lovely to conversate with, spoke really good English so made it easier for us. Great banter!
Good air conditioning in the car, spacious and lucky for us there was noone else booked for that day so we had the whole van to ourselves.
We stopped at all the scenic areas for pics and took us to show how they make argan oil, stopped for tea & bread with freshly pressed argan oil, peanut paste & honey etc.
He dropped us off at the bottom of the mountain where another tour guide had taken us upto the mountains.
Hassan Toudaoui was very nice & made sure we went up mountains to see waterfall safely (as I'm pregnant we took easier route back and didn't really go any further than the waterfall Imlill)
He gave us plenty of time to take pics, stop for rests, food & never rushed us.
Long walk to waterfall but soo worth it, there is a fresh drinks stand there with seating areas.
After we walked to the next stop which was Dar Aymane where we freshened up (bathroom with modern toilet). We ate delicious halal tagine with fresh salad, bread, fruits & mint tea served for 100Mad (£8.30)
We walked back on a shorter route & there we were picked up again by 'Said'.
Would suggest to where trainers with good grip or hiking boots as some of the walk is slippy!
Overall 'Said' & Hassan Toudaoui were excellent would highly recommend them.

An amazing day trip - It was an amazing day trip to rest from the noisy and chaotic Marrakech and to know the beautiful region of Atlas Mountains. Hassan Toudaoui was also an amazing guide, extremely patient, calm and kind. He took us on a circular walk around the mountains, allowing us to see the locals and their ways of life but also the most untouched natural corners of the mountains. The visit ended perfectly, with a wonderful meal (best tajine!). I would only advise to have a vegetarian option. We ended the trip very satisfied with our choice. We strongly recommend!

Great trip, amazing value! but no camel ride as in description - My partner and I went on this trip during a short stay in Morocco. For us, it was a great way to see the mountains and Berber villages and we had a great time overall. Our guide took us on a hike through the villages and to the waterfall, which provided some amazing views. Lunch was also very good and only 50 MAD each.
However, something to note is that the tour involves a lot of walking on rocky terrain. Whilst we really enjoyed this, we didn’t expect so much, so I would recommend wearing good trainers.
We also never actually did a camel ride, and the guide said that this wasn’t a part of the tour. I didn’t mind as I wasn’t bothered about this part, but important to note that this was in the description but didn’t actually happen!!
