Highlights
- Imlil - Departure by car from Marrakech around 9 in the morning for 2hour drive south up the Moulay Brahim Gorges, Asni weekly market every saturday then to Imlil (1740m), set in the upper level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains, a main trailhead with streams and paths branching out in all directions. Here we shall leave our vehicle to take a welcome glass of mint tea in the village and meet your local guide who will take you towards the south to cross the Berber villages overlooking ancient irrigated terraced fields of barley, corn and vegetables and always surrounded by almond and walnut trees. We will then carry on for another Half an Hour to get to our lunch which will be served among a berber familly in the a Berber village. After lunch, back to Imlil and our return trip to Marrakech.

Authenticity and beauty - We did a 2 hour ride with our 2 children aged 5 and 7. they were on a mule and we were walking alongside. The guide Wassim was very nice, he told us about his village, the mountains. Then we have lunch at the inhabitant. It was very authentic. Thank you Abdelghani for this discovery and for your professionalism. Benoit, Lise, Arthur and Marylou.
