(Please be informed that trails are often inundated from July to October and visitors should be ready to walk through the refreshing water on the trails!)

Guests meet our wildlife biologist at the trailhead to the Corkscrew Marsh. You must provide your own transportation. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE AN UBER, LYFT or TAXI. You must drive your vehicle from the starting point to the finish point.

Great tour - My kids (ages 10, 8, & 3) as well as my mom and, husband all enjoyed this excursion. The tour starts promptly (please don't be late) with a nature walk where you get the opportunity to explore different habitats as well as learn about wildlife, plant species, and insect that live in the area. I would encourage you to wear water shoes and insect repellant. It does get sunny in some portions of the hike and, I did put sunscreen on my kiddos. After your hike, you will drive to the next portion of your tour. I would avoid the birds when entering and, make sure that your kids avoid the birds. They are in cages but, still have the ability to bite you if you aren't careful. We avoided the area. My 8 and 10 year old loved learning about alligators and snakes. They were able to hold and interact with several snakes and an alligator names Mary! Our tour guide Rhett was very informative and patiently answered all of our questions. He shared all sorts of fun facts that inspired my kids to want to learn more about the Everglades and the creatures that live there. Our airboat ride was smooth and we spotted 25 plus alligators, several different species of bird, and a turtle. Our Captain identified the birds for us, but it was a little difficult to hear him- especially since we were wearing the ear protection. I reapplied sunscreen for the boat portion of the tour. We all really enjoyed this tour!

Best air boat tour - Pete was an excellent guide and kept us interested. He is very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Great with adults and children. If we do this tour again I would want him to be our guide. The air boat ride was great—saw lots of alligators, birds. Pete educated us on all of them. It was a really enjoyable day! Definitely recommend. Worth every minute.

Enjoy and learn about the Everglades. - Interesting tour of the Everglades by foot and airboat. Great guide Rhett was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and entertained us all. Highly recommend if you don't have the time for an all day Everglades tour.

Awesome airboat ride! - We had a great time doing the everglades glades tour. Unfortunately we didn’t see any animals other than lizards and birds on the walking tour. The airboat ride was amazing. We saw lots of gators and wildlife. It was definitely an adventure worth doing!! Kenny was a great guide full of fun facts and very knowledgeable about the area.

Great Learning experience - Rhett was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us everything and Kenny was very patient with everyone and watched everyone’s hands pointing out the animals and then tell us about the things we pointed out on the airboat ride. My thoughts that would help them out more would be if they had people sitting out on other boats around the marsh to take pics of the boats with the people on it, all at different angels, then transfer them to computers so the customers would see themselves actually on the boat and then they could buy their boat experiences in a package deal after the ride was over. But all in all a great experience
