Chouara Tannery - Explore the souks, traditional potteries, and Chouara Tanneries of Fez.

Mosque and University Kairaouine - Visit the University of Al-Qarawiyyin or Al-Karaouine, and the Karaouine Mosque.

Bou Inania Medersa - See this unique Madrasa, the only one with a minaret.

Fes Day Trip to Meknes and Volubilis

Meknes - Our first stop is a guided tour of this imperial city.

Bab Mansour Gate - Arrive at the Imperial City of Meknes for an afternoon guided tour of Bab Mansour, the monumental gateway and main entrance to this 17th-century city.

Moulay Idriss - Visit the holy town of Moulay Idriss I, founder of Morocco’s first indigenous Islamic kingdom.

Volubilis - Next, explore the ancient walled medina of Meknes and the ruins of Volubilis, located 27 km from Meknes, where we will visit the remarkable archaeological sites of the Roman Empire.

Fes - At the end of the day, return to Fez to spend the night in a traditional Moroccan riad or hotel.

Marrakech - After an early breakfast, bid farewell to Fez and transfer to the “Red City” of Marrakech. Settle in and relax in a riad or hotel in Marrakech.

This is a great tour to see the... - <p>This is a great tour to see the highlights of Morocco. The tour was run by Argania Travel and they provided excellent tour guides, drivers, and accommodations. We had an extra day, so Argania modified the tour for us to include the desert.</p>
