Place des Nations Unies - Alternatively known as United Nations Square, the administrative hub of Casablanca boasts stunning buildings crafted in the 1920s by a French architect. The square is framed by the Wilaya (main government office), accompanied by a clock tower, the courthouse, and a captivating musical fountain that comes to life with lights at night. Here, hundreds of pigeons gather to feast on grains provided by visitors and sip from the fountain’s refreshing waters.

Central Marketplace - The Central Market stands out as one of the most renowned urban markets in Morocco, considered a gastronomic essential in Casablanca. During our Food Tour, we’ll introduce you to the rich Moroccan culinary culture through a variety of tastings, followed by a visit to the fish markets for fresh selections. These will then be expertly prepared in a nearby casual restaurant, where we’ll also savor salads and traditional Moroccan side dishes.

Quartier Habous - The new medina of Casablanca features souks (markets) constructed by the French at the beginning of the century, now specializing in traditional Moroccan costumes. It resembles a traditional medina with its narrow alleys, small squares adorned with trees, and stone arches. Within this area, the Royal Palace stands out as the city’s most beautiful monument, showcasing an Arab-Muslim architectural style, seamlessly blending tradition with modernity.

Rabat - After independent lunch. Departure to Rabat, the white imperial city. Visit of the administrative capital of Morocco.

Hassan Tower - It takes just 10 minutes to reach the Hassan Tower, situated next to the remains of an incomplete mosque. The mosque’s construction began in the 12th century under the rule of the Almohad leader, Yacoub al-Mansour. Rising to a height of 44 meters (140 feet), the tower boasts intricate decorative elements, including calligraphy and geometric patterns.

Mausoleum of Mohammad V - Erected between 1961 and 1971 following the demise of King Mohammed V in 1961, the Grand Islamic Mausoleum in Rabat was designed by Vietnamese architect Nguyen Viet Thu, with construction executed by Moroccan artisans. Showcasing remarkable Islamic architecture and intricate marble craftsmanship, the mausoleum houses tombs crafted from white onyx beneath a grand dome.

Kasbah des Oudaias - Within a 5-minute walk lies a 12th-century citadel known as the Kasbah, renowned for its narrow streets, white and blue walls, small houses, and courtyards adorned with flowers. This historic site features notable landmarks, including a mosque and a museum and more.

Rabat / Meknes / Fez

Volubilis - After breakfast, departure to Fez with visit of the Roman ruins of Volubilis: An ancient Roman city situated near Fez, Morocco, was once the capital of the Kingdom of Mauretania and later a significant Roman outpost. Established in the 3rd century BC, it flourished into a bustling hub of trade and culture. Renowned for its remarkably preserved ruins, Volubilis boasts impressive Roman architecture, including temples, arches, and a triumphal arch. The city is adorned with beautiful mosaics that offer insights into the daily life of its inhabitants. Surrounded by picturesque rolling hills, Volubilis stands as a historic and scenic destination to explore.

Meknes - Continue to Meknes. Independent lunch and visit of this city known as “the Moroccan Versailles” which was founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail.

Bab Mansour Gate - Bab Mansour, the most preserved gate in Morocco: Started in the later years of Moulay Isma’il’s reign, the gate was completed in 1732 under the supervision of his son, Moulay Abdallah. Designed more for ceremonial purposes than defense, its aim was to leave a lasting impression on visitors. Named after the gate’s architect and designer, El-Mansour, who was once a Christian renegade that converted to Islam. In close proximity, another intricately adorned gate, Bab Jama’ en-Nouar, stands along the same wall to the southwest. It shares similar decorative elements with the great Bab Mansour and is believed to also date back to the era of Moulay Ismail.

Fez

Al-Attarine Madrasa - Although Fes is home to other medersas, the one at Attarine stands out for its exceptional elegance and architectural harmony. It is one of the best-preserved and decorated medersas in Morocco. Built between 1323 and 1325 by the Marinid Sultan Abu Said Uthman, the Attarine Medersa derived its name from the adjacent souk specializing in perfumes and spices: the Souk el-Attarine. The walls of this ancient Quranic school in Fes are adorned with beautiful mosaics inscribed with Quranic verses. Impressive floral motifs grace the upper parts of the walls. The upper floors of the Attarine Medersa housed small rooms where young students spent their years of study.

Bou Inania Medersa - As soon as you enter the courtyard of the Bou Inania Medersa, you will be captivated by walls adorned with meticulous stucco and wood carvings. The lower part of the walls is covered with small tiles forming a myriad of geometric patterns. Built between 1350 and 1355 for Sultan Abou Inan Faris, sultan of the Marinid Dynasty.

Mosque and University Kairaouine - Visit the Quaraouiyine Mosque, established in 859 by Fatima el Fihri. Although the mosque, built in the 14th century, is a popular tourist attraction, entry is restricted to non-Muslims.

Fez / Beni-Mellal / Marrakesh

Beni Mellal - After breakfast, departure to Marrakesh crossing the region the middle Atlas and passing through Immouzer du Kander and Ifrane, a charming ski resort in the heart of a magnificent cedar forest. Stop at Beni-Mellal to enjoy a moment of relaxation. Independent lunch.

Marrakech - Continue to Marrakesh. Little by little will appear the red earth of the country contrasting with the clear blue sky and the eternal green palms. Check-in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Saadian Tombs - Constructed by Sultan Almohad Mansour al-Yacoub, the site encompasses ‘El Mansouria’ (the grand mosque of the kasbah) and the Saadian Tombs. During your visit, explore the Saadian tombs, which were rediscovered and restored in 1917. Renowned for their exquisite decoration, these tombs are a significant draw for visitors to Marrakech. They stand as one of the few surviving remnants of the Saadian dynasty, which governed during the golden age of Marrakech from 1524 to 1659.

Koutoubia - You’ll then start your exploration of the old town with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, a pivotal landmark in Morocco’s history constructed in the 12th century during the Almohad Dynasty. Its minaret, standing as the tallest structure in Marrakech, serves as a prominent reference point visible from almost every corner of the city. Much like a guiding star, it aids in providing directions when navigating through the streets.

Bahia Palace - Following that, you will explore the enchanting Bahia Palace, admired by all for its intricate Moorish architecture, stunning ceramic tiles, and the majestic allure of its vibrant colors.

Menara Gardens and Pavilion - The Menara Gardens, situated west of Marrakech, Morocco, near the Atlas Mountains, are botanical gardens founded in the 12th century by the Almohad Caliphate ruler Abd al-Mu’min. The name ‘Menara’ refers to the pavilion featuring a small green pyramid-shaped roof, reminiscent of a lighthouse.

Jemaa el-Fnaa - Djemaa El Fna square is the gathering place for hundreds of locals each day, drawn to the storytellers, musicians, snake charmers, acrobats, jugglers, and performers of all kinds.
