A Must When Visiting Peru!! - This tour was amazing. Luis was an incredible tour guide, sharing his personal experience with Incan culture and facilitating the jam-packed itinerary with ease. If needed, he translated for us in restaurants and even helped to serve us food each day and night after leading multi-mile hikes. I had great conversations with Luis—he's just an all around genuine guy working hard for his family and passionate about Incan culture and the Peruvian ecology. As for the tour activities--it was an amazing value. For around $400 USD (including $30 for optional ziplining, $30 for optional guided white water rafting, and two optional short van rides), we were able to get 3 nights of hotel stays, 9 meals, tickets to Machu Picchu, train ticket home, and multiple van rides between activities. People who complain about the "extra costs" should read the description to understand what is and isn't included. People who book last minute (less than 2 weeks ahead) should also understand that some itinerary flexibility is required, and it's honestly incredible that we were able to get tickets at the last minute with Luis's experience with the process. (We were panicking about flying to Peru and not being able to get in to Machu Picchu and are so thankful it worked out.) Overall, if you want to hike the Incan trail, stay in a cool eco house and sample the region's coffee and foods, get pictures under waterfalls and jump from a cliff during white water rafting, take part in a beautiful Incan religious ceremony, zipline between mountains, and of course, see the splendid Machu Picchu with a great tour guide (arranged by Luis), you won't regret this!! Thank you, Luis!!

Great value provided by an exceptional guide - This Peruvian tour was an incredible value. For a surprisingly low price, our guide, Luis, packed more activities into four days than I've experienced on two-week vacations. Mountain biking was a highlight. The hiking trails were challenging and fun, and it was incredibly convenient having Luis coordinate our transportation between activities each day. Whitewater rafting was a thrilling experience, even for those new to the sport. This tour is perfect for active travelers looking to maximize their time. The hike to Machu Picchu was unforgettable. Luis was an exceptional guide, with the experience and flexibility to adjust our plans as needed. Since most of our group booked last-minute, he quickly rearranged our schedule to ensure we had tickets for Machu Picchu. His planning skills were impressive, and his dedication to ensuring a smooth experience was evident as he frequently coordinated our next adventure. When someone in our group asked about getting fresh cuy (guinea pig), he arranged to have the eco house owner make it fresh there. Luis seemed to have a contact for anything which was amazing. I highly recommend all the additional excursions offered. While some reviews have criticized the extra cost, it's clearly outlined in the tour description. Considering the overall value of the trip, the additional activities are still a great deal.

Best Tour Ever - Amazing experience from start to finish, I could not have imagined doing this trip any other way, I'm so glad I got to do this experiment along with zip lining, cycling downhill with panoramic views, hot springs all just things along the way to the world wonder, it's an experience that changes your life and I really learned from doing this it's not about the destination but it's the journey and the experience you have pushing yourself to new levels everyday. If I go to Cusco again I will do this whole trip again with the same company. Excellent experience thank you 😊

The best trip I've had in a long time - This tour was so much fun. We took part with 2 larger groups (German & French) and had a lot of fun. We were able to learn a lot about the culture, customs and ceremonies. The first accommodation was in the jungle and was very exciting. Although all the accommodation was not luxurious, it was perfectly adequate and the nature of the tour made up for it. Our guide Luiz had a lot to say and took good care of us. I can only recommend it.

Perfect trip - It was an amazing trip! We learned how to make coffee, met super nice people and hiked a beautiful route. We even did a ceremony for Pachamama and learned a lot about the culture. Our guide Luiz always listened to us and changed the plans if we wanted to. Would always do it again!

Great adventure! Peru won my heart - I would absolutely recommend this trip to those seeking an adventure. Armando was our tour guide and he did an excellent job teaching us about his culture and guiding the group through the Inka trail. The days were long and jammed packed but I wouldn’t change a thing. Some pro trips for those considering to do this tour: 1) pack light you will be carrying your bag with you on the 4 days. You can leave luggage at your hotel and just bring a light back pack for 4 days of clothes 2) bring your toiletries ie: soap, shampoo/ conditioner and extra toilet paper for times you may have to go in nature 3) bring good sturdy walking shoes & a camelback for hydration it will come in handy 4) Insect repellent is a must !! 5) cash in soles is the way to go for buying water and snacks along the trail — most places don’t take cards

Truly amazing - Road cycling, rafting, zip lining and lots of trekking in some of the most beautiful sceneries I have ever witnessed have left me reinvigorated, and grateful for being able to do that. Peru is a very diverse country with an intimate relation between its nature and culture over thousands of years. Luis is a friendly and very informative guide who does a great job at making sure everyone is having a fabulous time. His impressive time management skills is also helpful in making this activity-packed trip as enjoyable as possible. P.S. The breakfast we had at the Monkey Lodge was one of the best I’ve ever had
