Cusco - Km 82 - Hatunchaca - Ayapata

Inca Trail - We will start by pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 am and transfer you to Km. 82, where we will report to the checkpoint to begin the hike.

We will start by easy trail, a 2 hour walk to Llactapata, the first archaeological center, we will have an impressive view, and then continue another 2 hours walk to Hatuncancha, where lunch is waiting for us. After a rest we will continue 2 hours to our camp in Ayapata, where our staff will be waiting for us with their campsite installed, with a hot drink and a snack for the night.

Starting from Cusco City, we’ll travel to Machu Picchu via the iconic Inca Trail, a 42-kilometer (26-mile) path that peaks at 4200 masl (13,800 feet). During this trip, we’ll traverse quaint villages, learning about their historical significance during the Inca era. Experience camping, savor nutritious meals en route, and finally explore one of the 7 Wonders of the World - Machu Picchu.
