    Commence your journey from Labuan Bajo, heading towards the interior with scenic views of villages and paddy fields. Enjoy a midday meal at a local’s home in Denge. In the afternoon, begin your hike to Wae Rebo, with an opportunity to relish the natural pools along the way. Ascend to Post 2 at Pocoroko for breathtaking panoramic vistas of the South and the Savu Sea.
    This is the final spot for mobile phone signal availability. Continue to Nampe Bakok, where you’ll be greeted with an unobstructed view of the traditional Wae Rebo village. Reach Wae Rebo by the late afternoon, where dinner will be served in the village. Immerse yourself in the local lifestyle during the afternoon, and stay overnight in a communal traditional house, sharing space with the villagers. Accommodations are basic.

    Enjoy the morning in the village before descending the same path, this time downhill, to the location where your vehicle awaits to take you back to Labuan Bajo.

  • Cancar - a brief stop at Cancar Spiderweb
    In Manggarai, the remarkable lingko fields are a sight to behold. The most spectacular view of these fields can be found at Cara Village, perched atop a hill 17km west of Ruteng in Cancar. Their circular, spider-web-like patterns make these plots a distinctive spectacle in Manggarai.

A meal will be provided on the journey back. You’ll return to Labuan Bajo by the late afternoon or early evening. (You will be dropped off at your hotel in Labuan Bajo).

NOTE: It is not feasible to take a direct flight from Wae Rebo.

Trekking and Traditional Village Stay
Waerebo is a distinct traditional village of the Manggarai ethnic group, famed for its indigenous structures. Perched at an elevation of 1,125 meters within a conserved natural forest, it boasts seven indigenous homes known as Mbaru Tembong, each accommodating multiple families. Inhabitants subsist on farming produce such as coffee, taro, and assorted vegetables. The trek towards this hamlet spans roughly 3 to 4 hours, traversing woodlands and natural water bodies.
