Depart from our basecamp to catch the stunning sunset from camping site, 2600 m.a.s.I, it takes about 7-8 hours.

Mount Rinjani National Park - Our 4 wheel drive truck will drive you to the rain forest gate where you will start the trek, this drive will take about 40 minutes. From this point, you will trek through rain forest, pine forest and savannas with some rest points to the camping site at 2600 masl with stunning views of sunrise and sunset, the lake and Lombok and Sumbawa island.

Hike up to Rinjani second summit, 3200 masl.

Mount Rinjani - At 4 am after your morning coffee or tea with some biscuits, you will start a 2 hours hike to Rinjani second summit, or well known as Top of Kondo, a 3200 masl to catch the stunning views of sunrise, Rinjani view from east side, Gili, Lombok and Sumbawa island. Continue to descend to crater rim (for 3D2N pakcage) or back to rainforest entrance for 2D1N package.

Segara Anak Crater Rim

Segara Anak Lake - This is the last destination for 3D2N package, camping at the crater rim while you enjoy the views of the lake, sunset and sunrise. After that you descend to go back to rain forest entrance where the 4 wheel drive truck waiting to drive you back to our base camp, trip ends.

The Aik Berik route for trekking Rinjani was officially endorsed by the Central Lombok government in November 2018. It presents a unique approach to Rinjani, featuring two famous waterfalls in Central Lombok: Benang Kelambu and Benang Stokel waterfall. The trail traverses through a variety of landscapes including rainforest, pineforest, savannah, and dense forest abundant with water sources and waterfalls.
The trail ultimately leads to the secondary peak Puncak Kondo (Top of Kondo) at 3,200 meters above sea level, the crater rim, and Segara Anak lake. Depending on the final destination, each journey can range from two to four days, with each offering breathtaking views of sunset and sunrise, the peak of Mt. Rinjani, Segara Anak lake, Mt. Agung in Bali, and vistas of Lombok and Sumbawa island.
It is important to mention that this trail does not provide any opportunities to ascend to the peak of Rinjani.
