- Besakih Temple - Bellies happy, we flit to our next destination: Besakih Temple, Bali’s thousand-year-old ‘Mother Temple’ perched 1,000 metres high on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung. It is meant to be the island’s largest holy site divided into three main complexes, each dedicated to the Hindu trinity.
- Kehen Temple - The last of today’s temples, Kehen Temple, is a multi-level temple on a hill home to a great Banyan Tree. An untouched gem, it requires a bit of a hike to get to the well-preserved natural sanctuary.
- Penglipuran - Finally, the trip ends with a visit to Penglipuran Traditional Village, a traditional countryside community in the highlands.

Temple Heaven - We started off the day with our amazing tour guide Gusti picking us up from our hotel.
On the way to the first temple Gusti reccomeded a detour to see a cultural show. So glad we did. It was set in the grounds of a temple , which was a great introduction to our day. They show was funny and a great insight to the of culture of Bali.
We then proceeded to visit 4 more temples. Gusti was our guide for 3 of the temples. He was very informative and gave us more than enough time to look around. Not once did we feel rushed.
We also went to a coffee plantation. Here we had a tasting session and the chance to go on a jungle swing which was an added bonus. It's definitely worth going on the swing.
Gusti definitely made the day. He was so kind and friendly and very knowledgeable. He also took lots of amazing photos for us.
I would definitely recommend this company. They contacted us the day before to confirm our pick up time. I would also reccomed this trip as you get to see those temples that are off the beaten track.
Thank you Trip Guru and a big thank you to Gusti.

Trip review - An excellent and enjoyable full day tour. My guide, Dusa, was informative and helpful, and a good driver.
The temples were peaceful and not crowded. I got to see plenty of the Balinese countryside as well. Lunch came at the right time after 3 temples and the location overlooking rice terraces was just right, with a good buffet available.

Fabulous driver who turned into a tour guide for us!! Mr Gusti 😊 - Picked up on time, drove around from temple to different attractions throughout the day. Was our tour guide for most of the temples, he was super friendly, took photos and had good English. Took us to an amazing restaurant overlooking the rice fields. If you want to see different kinds of temples throughout Bali book with this company and you'll hopefully have Mr Gusti as your guy! 10 hour day for £20pp not including temple entry. Thank you so much!!

Bali day tour - We visited Bali in June 2019 and on our second day we did a full day tour including Tegenungan Waterfall, Ubud’s Sacred Monkey Forest, Ubud market and more! Our driver Mr Gutzi was very accommodating. He had superb local knowledge of the sites we visited and was very patient with us the other couple who were also on the your. He is a fine asset to Trip Guru. We also visited a coffee factory which was amazing to learn about the process and how the angry kitty poos out all the coffee we drink. I would recommend this tour for all those who visit Bali as allows you to visit all of the main areas in one action packed day!
