Starting in the heart of Yogyakarta, we cycle 5 km to the old town labyrinth. Feel the atmosphere of the historical area with the sights, sounds and smells. We’ll pass by the local shops varying from silversmiths to chocolate makers and see the archaeological buildings, unique houses, mosque and temples. Visiting the tombs of the Mataram Kingdom will be on our itinerary. Get involved in the ceremony wearing traditional clothing (optional) and meet the Sultan servants called Abdi Dalem.
Passing through the traditional market will give you a chance to try local style food and meet friendly local people.
