Great family memory - This was our favorite thing to do in Nusa Dua- the show was spectacular and entertaining! Our daughter’s face lit up as each performance came on the stage and she was even selected to join in a dance near the end of the show. I’m sure this will be a memory that will last a lifetime.

The reviews did NOT lie 💙🪻 - I'll first start with saying that I'm Indonesian, I come from Balikpapan, Borneo and I'm a HUGE fan of theatre! My family isn't big on them, though. But when planning our trip here, I saw this show and read the reviews (which were mostly positive) and asked my parents to buy us tickets for Seat C. We believed it was fairly priced, around $20 in US dollars if I convert it. We ordered the tickets online, and when we arrived at the theatre, we spent around 30 minutes waiting to exchange our tickets since we came early. The staff were super friendly! The ones at the cashier, the ones who guide you inside theatre, they always smile and as a local, I can also asure that they do not have bias and treat everyone, whether local or tourist, equally.
When we were kindly escorted inside the theatre, it was pleasantly cold due to the AC, and by this point my heart was racing, since this was my first time going to a theatre when I have been a huge fan of since I was a child.
When we sat down, I was admittedly surprised with the architecture of the seats, and the amount of guests. It wasn't too packed, I didn't feel claustrophobic at all! I had also thought the C Seats would be very far from the stage, but it wasn't! I could see the stage clearly, and the picture I attached was taken from my seat, from the second row at the back. So, even if you buy the cheapest tickets, you'll still get a good view of the show.
I cannot fully describe how AMAZING the performance was! Words cannot do it justice, I highly, very VERYYY strongly reccomend you see this show! Whether you are a local or new to Indonesian culture! Though, I had originally thought the preformance would be story-packed, turns out the show was intended to make a spectacle out of the big Indonesian islands, with the addition of Balinese culture. There was barely any story, but it isn't a con for me because of how well they present my and other cultures in Indonesia! The writing of the show is endearingly cheesy, it reminds me of old Disney Channel series. It's very clear that the whole mood of the show is intended as one big "Let's all have a good time with culture!" and it excels in that goal! (for those with children, they have a dance that involves the audience, too! Your children would love it :])
Not only does it show the traditional dances and cultures, but they also teach the audience of the meaning and origins of said dances. There are three screens below the stage, showing information about the performance on the stage! As an Indonesian from Borneo, I can also tell you that this show is authentic and accurate to Indonesian culture, with some creative variations and mixing here and there. But they are, at their core, truthful.
In total, we spent 2.5 hours in the theatre! An hour for exchanging tickets and then taking pictures with the dances before leaving, and an hour and a half for the show (90 minutes runtime). For the price it offers, and the performance it gives, I'd say it's exrremely worth it! Please give these folks a try, even if you aren't a theatre person!

A great experience - I really liked the entire experience. Everything really matched and it was nice experiencing the culture of Indonesia. However it could have been better by having a plot.
