- Gamat Bay - Gamat Bay is an amazing Nusa Penida snorkeling site, home to thousands of fish and underwater critters that have made a home for themselves amongst vibrant and colourful coral. From above the surface, the bay looks like any beach in Bali, but below the surface, it truly comes alive. If you’re interested in snorkeling in Nusa Penida, this amazing Bay is the place to do it. There is a diverse group of corals and coral mounds, almost all area of seabed from sandy Gamat Bay. - Manta Bay - For the manta rays in Manta Bay Nusa Penida Bali, it is a type of Coral Manta (Manta Alfredi). This type of manta is the second largest type of manta rays after the Oceanic Manta. Although it has a long tail, it is not poisonous, so swimming with manta rays is very safe. In addition to having a long tail, this manta ray has the largest brain when compared to other bony fish. They are very happy to interact with humans, therefore Manta Bay Snorkeling Nusa Penida is the best choice for snorkelers and divers to capture the best experience with these Mantas. - Crystal Bay - Crystal Bay is, together with Gamat Bay, one of the best sites to go snorkeling in Nusa Penida. Discover the coral and marine life of this beautiful spot, you can see turtles quite regularly, as well as a lot of different fish and very colorful coral. This site can get very crowded during mola-mola ocean sunfish season (July-October). While it is a great snorkeling site to spot mola-molas, there are plenty of other sites around Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. Where the chance to meet the exclusive fish is just as good and where the smaller number of snorkeler and boats makes the experience a lot nicer. - Kelingking Beach - In Kelingking Beach you can enjoy the sweeping views from a purpose-built platform, which is bordered by bamboo fences. If you dare the challenging trek down to the beach, make sure it’s during low tide. Some sections of the path can be steep, requiring a bit of rock climbing, especially on the way back up. Locals have put rocks and bamboos to aid visitors over the years. Once you’ve reached the sand, you’ll have it all to yourself most of the time. Depending on tide conditions, the waters are swimmable. - Pasih Uug Beach - Broken Beach or Pasih Uug spot is marked by a hilly arch-like rock formation, which is the distinguishable landmark of the area. Set over the crashing waves of the open Indian Ocean, Broken Beach is a great spot for travel photographers and panoramic view seekers. The adjacent area is also home to grey long-tailed macaques. If you’re lucky, you may spot silhouettes of giant mantas near the surface of the deep blue water. - Angel’s Billabong - Angel’s Billabong located nearby Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site with unique limestone formations. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide. The rock pools are one of the must-sees for visitors to Nusa Penida. The island itself is famous for its beautiful cliffs and pristine coastlines. The Nusa Penida Snorkeling Adventure is a popular tour package that allows you to explore the snorkeling areas of Gamat Bay, Manta Bay, Crystal Bay/Wall Point and visit outstanding sites like Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach and Angels Billabong. The journey begins at 06.30 AM from your hotel, from where we will transport you to the Sanur Beach - our meeting spot, from there we travel via speedboat to Nusa Penida Island. Upon landing at Nusa Penida Port, our driver will greet you, holding a white board bearing your name.
Our initial destination includes snorkeling in Gamat Bay, Manta Bay, Crystal Bay / Wall Point. Mealtime will be at a restaurant, after which we will escort you to Kelingking Beach, an amazing location with picturesque views of the blue ocean - a perfect Instagram spot. From there, we proceed to the Broken Beach (Pasih Uug), a giant cave with a high ceiling that has eroded over time. Visiting Angel’s Billabong marks the last stretch of the voyage, thereafter we will take you back to the Nusa Penida port and return to Bali Island.

Had a great day - Were picked up at the hotel to go to the port of Sanur. Also opportunity to have breakfast and then a fast boat to Nusa Pineda.
Arriving we were taken by snorkel boat to the first place where we saw beautiful fish and beautiful coral. Then to mantabay unfortunately due to the storm of that night no mantas or turtles seen. Then to 2 snorkeling points with beautiful coral and beautiful fish and blue starfish.
Back on land with the Guide and car lunch in a delicious restaurant and drove around the island. Had a great day.

Amazing experience!! Will do again :) - Amazing experience! Budi picked us up from our villa, he was on time and very helpful!
Then we got to Nusa Penida and the staff there were friendly and helped explain everything. When snorkelling, the team made sure everyone was safe in the water. Saw lots of beautiful fish and corals! It was great and we’ll definitely do it again!

Great whole event - The organization ran on the relay principle around was very good
Anyone expecting serious snorkeling will be disappointed
But the snorkel spots are already and the guides also take photos and videos of everything underwater and so the whole thing becomes unforgettable
The viewpoint tour in the afternoon was ok but had changed through the very bumpy

Stressful - They teach you the most touristic spots of Nusa Penida, but you run all day and the island is crowded. The snorkeling is not bad, but they only let you do it for 10 minutes at each point and, if you hire the tour especially to see manta rays, I do not recommend that you do it, we did not see any. They take you to Manta Bay and at that point you're not as likely to see them as you are in Manta Point. To see manta rays I recommend hiring a private tour to Manta Point, it will cost more than this but it is worth it and is a safe bet.
