- Gamat Bay - Gamat Bay is an amazing Nusa Penida snorkeling site, home to thousands of fish and underwater critters that have made a home for themselves amongst vibrant and colourful coral. From above the surface, the bay looks like any beach in Bali, but below the surface, it truly comes alive. If you’re interested in snorkeling in Nusa Penida, this amazing Bay is the place to do it. There is a diverse group of corals and coral mounds, almost all area of seabed from sandy Gamat Bay. - Manta Bay - For the manta rays in Manta Bay Nusa Penida Bali, it is a type of Coral Manta (Manta Alfredi). This type of manta is the second largest type of manta rays after the Oceanic Manta. Although it has a long tail, it is not poisonous, so swimming with manta rays is very safe. In addition to having a long tail, this manta ray has the largest brain when compared to other bony fish. They are very happy to interact with humans, therefore Manta Bay Snorkeling Nusa Penida is the best choice for snorkelers and divers to capture the best experience with these Mantas. - Crystal Bay - Crystal Bay is, together with Gamat Bay, one of the best sites to go snorkeling in Nusa Penida. Discover the coral and marine life of this beautiful spot, you can see turtles quite regularly, as well as a lot of different fish and very colorful coral. This site can get very crowded during mola-mola ocean sunfish season (July-October). While it is a great snorkeling site to spot mola-molas, there are plenty of other sites around Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. Where the chance to meet the exclusive fish is just as good and where the smaller number of snorkeler and boats makes the experience a lot nicer. - Kelingking Beach - In Kelingking Beach you can enjoy the sweeping views from a purpose-built platform, which is bordered by bamboo fences. If you dare the challenging trek down to the beach, make sure it’s during low tide. Some sections of the path can be steep, requiring a bit of rock climbing, especially on the way back up. Locals have put rocks and bamboos to aid visitors over the years. Once you’ve reached the sand, you’ll have it all to yourself most of the time. Depending on tide conditions, the waters are swimmable. - Pasih Uug Beach - Broken Beach or Pasih Uug spot is marked by a hilly arch-like rock formation, which is the distinguishable landmark of the area. Set over the crashing waves of the open Indian Ocean, Broken Beach is a great spot for travel photographers and panoramic view seekers. The adjacent area is also home to grey long-tailed macaques. If you’re lucky, you may spot silhouettes of giant mantas near the surface of the deep blue water. - Angel’s Billabong - Angel’s Billabong located nearby Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site with unique limestone formations. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide. The rock pools are one of the must-sees for visitors to Nusa Penida. The island itself is famous for its beautiful cliffs and pristine coastlines. The Nusa Penida Snorkeling Adventure is a popular tour package that allows you to explore the snorkeling areas of Gamat Bay, Manta Bay, Crystal Bay/Wall Point and visit outstanding sites like Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach and Angels Billabong. The journey begins at 06.30 AM from your hotel, from where we will transport you to the Sanur Beach - our meeting spot, from there we travel via speedboat to Nusa Penida Island. Upon landing at Nusa Penida Port, our driver will greet you, holding a white board bearing your name.
Our initial destination includes snorkeling in Gamat Bay, Manta Bay, Crystal Bay / Wall Point. Mealtime will be at a restaurant, after which we will escort you to Kelingking Beach, an amazing location with picturesque views of the blue ocean - a perfect Instagram spot. From there, we proceed to the Broken Beach (Pasih Uug), a giant cave with a high ceiling that has eroded over time. Visiting Angel’s Billabong marks the last stretch of the voyage, thereafter we will take you back to the Nusa Penida port and return to Bali Island.

Breathtaking Experience - Our tour was exceptional to say the least. Agung our driver to and from the harbor. was very punctual and very informative. He provided us with clear details of what to expect and what to do. Budi our guide on the island was phenomenal. He went above and beyond to ensure we were having a great experience and gave us some background knowledge on the locations we visited. He’s very patient and took some of the most amazing photos and videos we captured on our trip. A big thank you to these guys. I will def be booking again when I return.

Josh & Zana - Manta Ray Tour 30.06.2024! - We (Josh & Zana) went on the Manta Ray Guided tour. Agung was such a good driver, he picked us up promptly and explained everything that was set for the day, making sure we knew where to go. Alex was amazing as our island guide, he took us to every photo potential spot, took us for lunch and even made sure the music to our liking. Alex got us onto our boat just in time and with the help of Agung everything ran smoothly to get us home. The snorkeling was so amazing, the waves were very choppy so we could not go to the Manta Ray spot but our boat guide still made sure we had a good time seeing dolphins, a whale and seeing all the beautiful coral and fish. We will definitely be back again and we will be requesting Agung and Alex!! They really made the trip fantastic 🙌🌊🙏 THANK YOU! Josh & Zana from New Zealand.

A day in paradise - Beautiful day in Nusa penida, unfortunately the weather did not allow us to see manta rays during snorkelling but the kindness of our guide allowed us to see them in the afternoon from the cliff above Manta bay.
Our guide during the day on the island was fantastic, we made 3 excursions with this agency and frankly you can go there with your eyes closed!

Snorkelling in Nusa Penida - Absolutely fantastic day out. We were picked up by our punctual and friendly driver, Agung Cok, who shared the details of the day and his knowledge of the area during our trip to the Port. Agung looked after us well and arranged a seamless boarding to the speed boat. It was reassuring to know his friendly face would be waiting for us at the end of the day to transport us home.
On arrival in Nusa Penida, we were greeted by Buddy who showed us to our snorkelling guides. The snorkelling was amazing and we were lucky to see an array of tropical fish, a manta ray and turtle. Photos and videos were shared with us at no extra cost.
Buddy drove us from location to location on the island, providing us with interesting information as we visited each place.
Thank you for a great highlight of our holiday.

Great experience - Budi our driver and tour guide in Nusa Penida was great! He is a local here so had all the inside knowledge of where is best to go. The car journey was very comfortable and I felt very safe.
He met us at the start and was with us until we got on the boat! He’s also a very good photographer :)
We saw Manta Rays and Turtles snorkelling too!

Great day trip to Nusa penida - We had a great trip on Nusa Penida. Our driver Budi was fantastic and took us to all the great spots. He was very knowledgeable about the island and even helped teach us some Indonesian in the car journeys! Thanks Budi! The snorkeling was a highlight, unfortunately didn’t see manta rays but did see lots of fish!

GREAT One-day trip to Nusa Penida - Everything was great since the beginning. Despite there were many people going to Nusa Penida that day and apparently everyday, everything was well organized and went smooth.
Our drivers both Budi, were really nice and helpful.
Uncle Budi in Nusa Penida is the best driver and guide there. We recommend him 100%.
For snorkelling they take you to 4 spots, where you will see fishes and corals, turtles and if you are very lucky a manta. Since there is not much time, all is slightly rushy but worthy.
After that, lunch in a local warung, nice clean and good food.
When you finish lunch there is a sightseeing of 3 beaches: kelingking, angel’s billabong and broken beach. Just for the picture, you do not have time to go to the beach if you want. Most of the one-day trip tourists go at the same time to the same spots and it is packed, but the place is amazing.
Next time we’ll stay over night to enjoy more the island. One day trip is not enough.
