There is a diverse group of corals and coral mounds, almost all area of seabed from sandy Gamat Bay. - Manta Bay - For the manta rays in Manta Bay Nusa Penida Bali, it is a type of Coral Manta (Manta Alfredi). This type of manta is the second largest type of manta rays after the Oceanic Manta. Although it has a long tail, it is not poisonous, so swimming with manta rays is very safe. In addition to having a long tail, this manta ray has the largest brain when compared to other bony fish. They are very happy to interact with humans, therefore Manta Bay Snorkeling Nusa Penida is the best choice for snorkelers and divers to capture the best experience with these Mantas. - Crystal Bay - Crystal Bay is, together with Gamat Bay, one of the best sites to go snorkeling in Nusa Penida. This site can get very crowded during mola-mola ocean sunfish season (July-October). If you dare the challenging trek down to the beach, make sure it’s during low tide. Some sections of the path can be steep, requiring a bit of rock climbing, especially on the way back up. Locals have put rocks and bamboos to aid visitors over the years. Once you’ve reached the sand, you’ll have it all to yourself most of the time. Depending on tide conditions, the waters are swimmable. - Pasih Uug Beach - Broken Beach or Pasih Uug spot is marked by a hilly arch-like rock formation, which is the distinguishable landmark of the area. Set over the crashing waves of the open Indian Ocean, Broken Beach is a great spot for travel photographers and panoramic view seekers. The adjacent area is also home to grey long-tailed macaques. If you’re lucky, you may spot silhouettes of giant mantas near the surface of the deep blue water. - Angel’s Billabong - Angel’s Billabong located nearby Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site with unique limestone formations. The naturally formed rock lagoon offers a scenic seascape. You can descend into its crystal-clear rock pools for a swim or a soak, but only during low tide. The rock pools are one of the must-sees for visitors to Nusa Penida. The island itself is famous for its beautiful cliffs and pristine coastlines. The Nusa Penida Snorkeling Adventure is a popular tour package that allows you to explore the snorkeling areas of Gamat Bay, Manta Bay, Crystal Bay/Wall Point and visit outstanding sites like Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach and Angels Billabong. The journey begins at 06.30 AM from your hotel, from where we will transport you to the Sanur Beach - our meeting spot, from there we travel via speedboat to Nusa Penida Island. Upon landing at Nusa Penida Port, our driver will greet you, holding a white board bearing your name.

Our initial destination includes snorkeling in Gamat Bay, Manta Bay, Crystal Bay / Wall Point. Mealtime will be at a restaurant, after which we will escort you to Kelingking Beach, an amazing location with picturesque views of the blue ocean - a perfect Instagram spot. From there, we proceed to the Broken Beach (Pasih Uug), a giant cave with a high ceiling that has eroded over time. Visiting Angel’s Billabong marks the last stretch of the voyage, thereafter we will take you back to the Nusa Penida port and return to Bali Island.
