It can only be accessed on foot, requiring a three to four-hour hike from the nearest village. The lush rainforest along the path is rich in biodiversity, featuring orchids, palms, and ferns. The journey to Wae Rebo is accompanied by the melodious sounds of various bird species. Wae Rebo boasts 7 Original Traditional Manggarai Houses with distinctive architecture. Visitors are invited to explore the architecture, engage with the community, and stay overnight in one of the traditional houses.
