Yogyakarta Region - Our driver will collect you at 7 am from your hotel in Yogyakarta city. The journey to your accommodation in Cemoro Lawang village near Bromo will take approximately 8 hours. We will travel via the toll road, with the possibility of making brief stops for restroom breaks or lunch along the way. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the hotel and proceed with check-in.

Ngadisari - After checking in, if time permits, we can enjoy the sunset near the hotel. At 5 pm, meet our driver at the reception, and he will take you to the sunset point. It’s just a short walk of a few meters to reach the sunset point, where you can wait for the sun to set with a view of the Bromo landscape.

Sunrise and Trekking Bromo’s Crater

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - We will start at 3 am from the hotel and drive for 1 hour to the sunrise viewpoint. Upon arrival at the parking area, make sure to take a picture of the jeep’s registration number to avoid losing it when you return. Walk a few meters to the sunrise viewpoint and wait for the sunrise, which occurs around 5 am. Enjoy the sunrise and the surrounding landscape of Mount Bromo. Once you have had your fill, return to the jeep and continue trekking to Bromo’s crater.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - The jeep will stop at the parking area, and you will need to trek to the top of the crater. Along the way, you will pass a Hindu temple and climb 250 steps. At the top of the crater, you will see Bromo’s caldera and the surrounding landscape. Around 8 am, return to the hotel for breakfast, a shower, and to prepare for the drive to the next hotel near Ijen. At 9 am, check out from the hotel and drive for 4 hours to Bondowoso city. Check in at the hotel and enjoy some free time. You will stay until midnight before continuing to Ijen.

The Ijen Volcano Tour

Ijen Crater - At midnight, check out from the hotel and start the 2-hour drive to the Ijen car park. Around 2 am, we will begin the 3 km uphill trek, accompanied by a local guide. After the uphill trek, you will descend to the sulfur mining site to see the Blue Flame. Please follow your guide’s instructions, as the trek to the Blue Flame is narrow and the sulfur mining site is dangerous. You will be provided with a standard gas mask for visiting the Blue Flame point. Take a few minutes to enjoy and photograph the Blue Flame, then continue to the summit of Ijen mountain. Once at the summit, you will see the landscape of Ijen and the great turquoise acid lake. At 7 am, return to the car park for breakfast.
