Awesome private tour!! - Alex was a fantastic guide. He was so knowledgeable of this extraordinary place (born and raised here, too!). This is a beautiful gothic city rich in history. I highly recommend this tour. It is worth the money and was so nice to have a guide to ourselves. Thank you Alex!

Innsbruck – Perfect blend of culture, nature and urban flair - Innsbruck is a beautiful city nestled between the Karwendel Mountains and the Tux Alps. The special charm of the city is underlined by the colorful houses, the many young people – typical of a student town – and the cozy cafes and restaurants. There are also countless cultural and leisure activities, from museums to mountain sports. I was particularly impressed by Maria-Theresien-Straße with its numerous shops, the beautiful facades and the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. A perfect destination for culture and nature lovers!

Beautiful Innsbruck thru a Local's eyes - Our tour thru Innsbruck was guided by a man who loves his city, its history, its contributions, its issues and its beauty-everything that a visitor would need to know to really have an idea of the place. He had a great sense of humor and walked us thru everything we could get to in a couple of hours. He provided the context for where Innsbruck stood in early and modern Austria. I wish we could have spent even more time walking around the city with him.

Innsbruck with Alex - This was a great introduction to the city history, culture, and places of great interest. We had arrived by plane earlier in the day and it was a very pleasant walk through the gardens, narrow historical streets and current events. Alex is an incredibly cordial and informed native who guides you with a fun and informative narrative of the town. It made it easy on subsequent days to return to places of particular interest, dinners and exercise. Put it as the first event on your stay in this charming city.

Lovely tour of Innsbruck with a wonderful and knowledgeable guide - We spent a day in Innsbruck on our own before taking our walking tour of Innsbruck with our local tour guide Alexander. Alexander connected all the dots of the sites we had seen and still others that we had no idea existed! He was an encyclopedia of information and a very personable tour guide. In two hours we were mesmerized by the over 800 years of history that we were presented with. The walking tour was casual and informative. I would recommend that anyone visiting Innsbruck start with one of these private, walking history tours.

Responsive, flexible and knowledgeable - As a Travel Advisor with 30+ years experience, I found Alexander to be a responsive and flexible guide, he did a city orientation tour of Innsbruck for my clients, as well as a full day trip visiting the Kings Castles which was customized to their specific interests. This rating covers both my side of finding him easy to work with, and their side of reporting back an enjoyable experience!
