During this part of the tour, the guide will illuminate you with historical information about the construction and cultural significance of the Gornergrat Bahn, the first electric rack railway in Switzerland. Upon reaching the top of Gornergrat, you’ll reach a vantage point where multiple peaks of the exquisite Monta-Rosa region will be visible, as well as the Dufourspitze mountain, which is Switzerland’s highest peak, and the Matterhorn.
