Wonderful trip - The Harder Kulm restaurant is an asset in terms of gastronomy. Despite the large number of guests, the service staff are always very friendly and can still smile. The woman named Dominika took orders and also advised, collected the money at the end and also served in between. There was also a lot of language skills on offer so that foreign guests were satisfied. We had the daily menu for 25.- which consisted of pork strips with vegetables and croquettes and before that there was a vegetable soup - everything tasted very good. If you sit on the shaded terrace you have a wonderful view of Interlaken, Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and the mountains.

Thrilling ride on funicular to top of Harder Kulm - On our trip through Switzerland we were in Interlaken and went on the funicular train to the top of Harder Kulm. Although this is not an extremely high mountain, the views at the top were amazing and this is a definite must for any visitors to this area.

A must “to do”in Interlaken! - It was so much fun and views were breathtaking! We ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing and so was our waitress! 10/10! PS, they also had a band with local ties to Swiss Culture - cherry on top of the whole excursion!

A trip of a lifetime to tourist places in Switzerland - The Harder Kulm view is wonderful, overlooking the city of Interlaken and Lake Thun and around it, and the magnificent, snow-covered peaks of the Alps. I recommend going there for tourism and travel enthusiasts.

A must visit when in Interlaken! - We went to Harder Kulm with not much expectations but found the whole experience exhilarating with great views of the twin lakes (Thun and Brienz) as well as the Alps. Note that Harder Kulm is just 10 minutes from Interlaken via a funicular and not too expensive at CHF 40 per person without a Swiss pass. It also has a wonderful restaurant where we had delicious tomato soup and red wine. They were also selling some good souvenirs at decent prices. We were also lucky to have experienced a thunderstorm and heavy rains when we were there as we enjoyed the accompanying cold weather! Overall we had a great time as the whole trip took less than hour and a half. Very convenient!

Must visit but accompanied with hardships more so for senior citizens - Harder Kulm is a must visit for every tourist to Switzerland-Interlaken. Fabulous view from the top over 4000 ft above ground level. Besides the view very inviting restaurant with open air seating to enjoy meals overlooking 360 view from the top. Problem is in tourist season one has to wait for an hour or so to buy the entry ticket and board the Funicullar train for going to the top. One trip accommodates only about 75 persons and same car goes up and returns-ythus making people wait till one return trip is over. Like wise for returning again one has to wait for an hour before getting into the train. Thus almost three or four hours is spent on this visit which deprives tourists of visiting other places in Interlaken. At least proper sitting lounges should be provided at either ebnd for senior citizens if not for all.

It's worth it for the view, but I wouldn't return - 8 minutes of travel on the cableway with so many people packed together (it's almost impossible to breathe) to get to a very crowded panoramic point which, to reach it, you have to pass between the tables of a restaurant, which in our case was full of people (the waiters had to pass among the tourists who were queuing to take the fateful photo). So much confusion that is unsuitable for the mountain (1323 meters above sea level). The view is worth it, as is the walk to get to the panoramic point and the green paths in the surrounding area... but for the rest, I honestly wouldn't go back. Obviously the cable money can be saved by going on foot.

Horrible customer service - Absolutely worth your time! Beautiful views and fun ride up HOWEVER! The queue line going back down was horrendous. I asked the front desk before purchasing my ticket when the last train down is she said 9:40. I bought my ticket at 8, after exploring for an hour we headed back and saw a huge line we ended up waiting 2 hours to go back down. We got down by 10:55 and ran to catch our train. We were exhausted our legs hurt from standing then running! Was no fun. Worse part is the employees were rude. There were two people that kept making rude jokes and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. We paid $260 for 4 people, we ended up waiting longer than we actually got to explore the area. You have the technology so make a system that tells you to stop selling tickets at a certain time or a specific number of people are up.

Bad queue long wait to get up - They say it will get you to the top in 10 minutes what they don’t say is in busy times it’s the smallest cable car I’ve seen in all of Switzerland and despite checking times and getting there early I still had to wait for 45 mins to get on and I’m writing this in the queue. Not even sure how I’ll make it down. If they want to offer a good service get a better system going. Terrible.
