Worthwhile sightseeing - Even though it was a cloudy day which obstructed the view. The restaurant was fun and cable car efficient. Would not suggest if it is too cloudy of day though.

Amazing views from the top - You take a funicular up to the top and there you can enjoy the views over the lakes from the viewing platform which are very breathtaking. There is also a hiking loop you can do and experience different views. There is also a restaurant there where we had some lunch and it was also good. The only issue is that it takes quite a long time to queue for the funicular, especially on the way down. The cost of the ticket is included in the Berneroberland pass, which we had and you didn't need to queue for buying the tickets.

Steep funicular leading to fantastic views - If you're going to take a pricey funicular in Switzerland this one is worth considering. We lucked out with nice clear views of the area and the station at the top has a nice restaurant and panoramic views of the valley below with two very nice lakes. We spent a couple of hours in the area taking photos and eating at the restaurant. We would recommend dressing for the weather and bringing a good pair of shoes for walking around at the top. We would also recommend checking the weather reports to make sure you get clear views at the top. We don't think it would be worth it without the view because it is 19 CHF each way! The views in every direction are brilliant and there are many vantage points to get unique views of the area including a few spots to get panorama views. Some of the tourists up here were a bit pushy but it didn't take away from our experience.

Stunning views of the mountains and more - Spectacular view of the mountains and the lake from the top. There is usually a long queue for the funicular. We nearly had to wait for an hour for our turn. All the waiting is certainly worth it when you see the vista from atop. There are a few wood carvings of animals and some play things for the children as well. The best time to get there would be before sunset as the view is magnificent. Swiss travel pass is always convenient.

Very nice view and good restaurant with very good service. - We were lucky that not very many people had the idea to ride on Harder Kulm that day, so it was very pleasant. We had lunch at Harder and were spoiled by the good service and fine food.

Fantastic trip - Travelled by train to Interlaken from Kandersteg then the amazing funicular railway to the top and Harder Kulm. Wow! The views were incredible. Coffee overlooking the Eiger… such a worthwhile trip, a feeling of being on top of the world!

Interlaken must do - The view is stunning and speechlessly breathtaking. There is a funicular that goes up to the top. Line moves so quick especially if you purchase online.

Amazing views of Interlaken - Easy to find and went via the funicular tram . Nice cafe on top with beer and snacks available for a leisurely lunch . There is a walk out for better viewing of all Interlaken ! Fun to watch hikers getting to the top !

Nice views of the valley, slightly pricy - Great spot for viewing the entire Interlaken city, both the lakes and the mountains in the background. Except for 1 or 2 viewing posts, there isn’t much to do here. There is a restaurant and a self service shop but if you are visiting at a time when you are not keen to eat, then at the top, you only need about 30-45 minutes. You can go up to the viewing spot on foot or via the gondola. The ticket costs around 38 CHF (if I’m not wrong) and with a half fare card it will be 19 CHF. We took the gondola up since the walk up was estimated to be around 1-1.5hours with steep inclines at various points. The gondola takes about 10 minutes to go up or down. Wherever you go in Switzerland, there is an entry ticket and often it’s far from cheap. I personally found this a little pricy.

Beautiful views of a scenic landscape! Sadly let down by too many people/long queues/being crammed onto the funicular. - My husband and I queued for around half an hour to board the funicular in each direction. We were pleased to get a 50% discount with our Interrail passes. Standing/queuing for so long was uncomfortable and claustrophobic, as was our experience on the funicular. This was due to the sheer volume of people. Unfortunately, this made the funicular journeys in both directions unpleasant because everyone was crammed in and you had strangers pressed against you. The actual experience was cool, I just wish it was organised more efficiently. When you get off the funicular, it’s an uphill walk to get to the panoramic views. These are definitely worth seeing as the location is so scenic! Similarly to anywhere popular with tourists, there were some instances of irritating and inconsiderate behaviour from others. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and were glad we visited Harder Kulm. Views of the snow-capped mountains, glistening lakes and beginnings of sunset were beautiful!
