The water carries over 20,000 tons of boulders and scree annually, causing the entire mountain to tremble and roar.
• Saint Beatus Caves - The St. Beatus Caves, perched high above Lake Thun, offer a chance to explore a unique underground world. Visitors can venture about one kilometer into the depths of the Niederhorn massif along a well-designed, safely lit path. Inside, they will discover stalactites and stalagmites formed by nature over millions of years.
