A visit to Switzerland isn’t complete without experiencing Jungfraujoch - the Peak of Europe. Nestled within the Bernese Alps, it links the two colossal peaks, Jungfrau and Mönch, standing tall at a height of 3,466 meters (11,371 ft) above sea level. It geographically forms part of the Jungfrau-Aletsch region, which has been declared a Unesco world heritage site.
The Jungfraujoch is easily accessible from Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, thanks to the availability of an aerial cableway and a cogwheel train. The breathtaking glacier world has been open to visitors since 1912, courtesy of the cogwheel train.
The journey to the peak begins from Interlaken and continues on to Grindelwald, the starting point of the Jungfrau railway line. The trip offers an ever-evolving landscape until reaching the peak of Jungfraujoch - the Top of Europe, home to the highest train terminal in Europe.
Upon arrival at the Peak of Europe, a guide will lead you through several attractions including the Sphinx terrace, the viewing deck, the Alpine sensation exhibit, and the Ice cavern. The complex also houses a selection of panoramic eateries and stores.

Jungfrau tour with the best tour guide. - Adrian was our tour guide and he was fantastic. His is very personable and knowledgeable. He made it one of our best tours in Switzerland. If you want to take this tour, ask for Adrian. You won’t be disappointed.

Magical, the Top of Europe - This was an incredible adventure. We had a first class tour, Ulrich was absolutely wonderful. He arrive at our apartment and met us there. We then took the train, gondola and cog train up the Jungfrau mountain. Stunning views in all directions.
I booked the tour online from New Zealand, got email confirmation at the time. Everything went extremely well and smoothly, thank you. Trust the system 😀
We had a very memorable tour lunch at the top, a blizzard from Germany made a great back drop for lunch, and a warming congac.

Mary Lowe - My family of 9 had a full day tour . It was wonderful, Tony was very informative and patient with us all. He was the perfect tour guide. The weather turned out perfect , so that was a blessing. The views were absolutely amazing. It was definitely on my bucket list . I’m so glad we did this!

David was a great young man and... - <p>David was a great young man and eager to please. We took the train to Wengen and had to time to stroll through the village and enjoy both it's quaintness as well as the spectacular scenery. Heading up through the Eiger to Jungfraujoch was exciting as were the ice caves in the glacier. We even hiked on the glacier in an early September snow storm. Great fun!</p>

Toni was a treasure trove of... - <p>Toni was a treasure trove of experience for our tour to Jungfraujoch. He gave us a quick overview of Switzerland he actually typed a document for us to take home and would explain the various sights along our journey up and down to Jungfraujoch up to the minute details of real and artificial snow. He had prepared almost everything for the trip, so all we had to do was follow him and take pictures of the beautiful sights he'd even tell us which side of the train to sit for the best photo opportunities.</p>
<p>If you don't mind chatting, Toni's fun to chat with as well during the train rides to Jungfraujoch. There was always something to learn from his experiences and we totally enjoyed our tour with him as our guide!</p>

Our guide, Debra was great. She was... - <p>Our guide, Debra was great. She was on time meeting us at our hotel. We walked to the Interlaken train station. She told us where to sit in each train to simplify transfers 3 trains needed to reach Jungfraujoch. She answered all our questions. She helped other tourists at Jungfraujoch.<br/>
We were prepared for the 37 degrees at the top of the mountain, but Debra carried things one step further by bringing gloves for us to wear in the ice tunnels.</p>

The tour was good. In spite of the... - <p>The tour was good. In spite of the adverse weather conditions we had a memorable time. Thanks to our guide Dominique who ensured that we were able to get on the right connection trains and also were assisted regarding the various attractions. She was also very friendly with our kids.</p>

Took a private tour per some... - <p>Took a private tour per some recommendations to the top of Europe. the guide was very nice and was very knowledgable of the trains and time schedules. I would have preferred to have chosen the time of depature would have liked to leave earlier. Overall good experience.</p>
